Does a Snake get to do anything in a fantasy world?

I jolted as I turn to the passing cars. Can say that I don't like walking around where cars and trucks pass eachother with a horn, people especially, they will always block my way to my destination. Other than thinking about outdoors, I get to waste my dime on the series I've been waiting for continuation. As I pass around the corner I beamed. There it is, the haven of sacred things. The store that can can sell my type of series. I sprinted my way inside. I always come here if there's any new selling. I know. It's probably late now and I guess mom is going to give my third chance a break and actually ban me from going anywhere else except school but it's definitely worth it. Basically an office man who's done with life got reincarnated in a world of Dragons, beasts, elves, fairies, ogres and well unrealistic beings. He who is basically a realist wants to make a world a modernized, powerful land for him and his harem only. Since he's the only one who has the expertists of modern technology, he helps some tribes in return for the most beautiful women ( not really tho ) human or not, it's kinda biased and weird since he doesn't really have the hots for the women except for the girl he met first but it's the only key on becoming the strongest party in the fantasy world.  The name, Land Of The Immortals is because there are clans of different raises that tried to build a land of the strong and unbreakable which resort to war to all raises since they live in different styles and doesn't try to compensate with other raises. The male lead, Arata Watanabe plans to make one person from each raises to band with him to make his own Land, whether it be male or female, it has to be the most important or strong, so he doesn't purposely made a harem it's just that.. the creator really has a fetish of clothing reveals. I already have nine volumes of it and this is the tenth and final volume, can't wait to know the ending. Even if it's cliche, it's.. just too fascinating.  I beamed. " Thanks man! Here. " I hand him the amount of money to him making him shake his head. " Nooo~ it's already mine so your borrowing it not buying it. " I pouted. I gripped the manga I'm holding as I watch two lights coming straight at me, not hearing the shouting behind me. I was too distracted. Then it happened. the truck was still far away, I run not noticing I was too late. A vehicle from a corner overturn to the front of the truck speeding straight to my direction. But I didn't notice as I continue running. A motorcycle doesn't have a horn does it? Was it my fault? Certainly a 50% Suddenly I feel force on my rib pushing to the back making my back land on the car glass. The motorcycle stopped as the driver realized he's going too fast.  I'm here thinking for the best words before I lay unconscious. ' Sorry for the poor person who own this car. My grave. Wait- Mother snakes don't care for their offsprings once they hatch right? Adult insticts are kicking in them.  I sighed. Not sure if it's a proudly sigh that my newborn siblings got to their teenage angst or if it's because I'm no longer human. Don't care now. I have to find some things to help me survive. Adios family. I slither around to make a big entrance to get out of my egg, the eggs close to me began to slither as well. Come on...  There! I got out!!  *Ssssss Hm? I look behind. Woah!  About fifteen snakes out of the ones already out came to follow me. Why though? I don't know anything about snakes so I 'shrug' it off and proceed to venture around the.. where am I?  A what seemed like a massive cave filled with various strange things. Are those berries? [ Magnolia Berries, known for it's poisonous effects. ] Woah?!! What is- no.... this voice is from my head isn't it? I slither close to the red-purple small berries. ' What else is this known for? ' [ The cause of the extinction of the ones born here in Avia cave, known for having the most vicious and rarest beasts in this world. ] O-Okay? Wait- poisonous? I swear there is alot of those where we hatched from? Did Momma Snake left us knowing it's poisonous but didn't care? Momma Snake, you are now considered one of the worst moms of the world. Even when I haven't meet you yet. Hmm? What kind of snake am I?  [ Normal baby snake, 5 inches tall and 15 inches long. ] Normal?!!! Excuse my pardoness system thing I red in transmigration novels, how the heck is 15 inches long a normal BABY snake??? Am I- Am I in another world? I paled inside. ' Where am I right now? I got a system to say the infos. As I roam around, I see a lake with bright blue color. Hm? I slither closer to it.  [ WARNING! DANGER! ] Wha- I stopped. I look closey at the lake. Up and down. At the roof there are spiked stones that drip blue liquids towards the lake. I look to the lake. [ Criteria leeches, known to be dangerous for as one person to swim there, the leeches will stick to them until there are nothing but bones. ] Are you kidding with me System?  Hm? How to clarify or point this to be safe? I slither and find a thick stick and go back to the lake.  I then place the stick at the lake and deepen it until the half. After a second I put it back up and got terrified. There I see are blue fat worm like small creatures falling from the stick I quickly drop it making the stick drown to the lake. Yikes.  I look down with pity. Suddenly I now got engrossed with the creature infront of me staring. It's my reflection apperently.  Damn. And I thought I would find a handome looking fellow but got the cold snake in return. I squinted to see closer at my snake design. A gray/black/green colored snake with red eyes stared blankly. The dark design imprinted on my skin are somewhat delectable. Mabye it can be a clothing if I can shed it. If I can turn to human I can bring the sheddings and turn it to clothes.  I sighed inside as I turn around. I will try hunting.  For small creatures. ONLY. I slither around humming a tune from my head as I venture around the cave. It's a pretty big area. I wonder, if there are.. large ones that are much more bigger than an elephant. I shake my head. I am smart boy! Surely I can outrun it.  * BANG " ROOAAARRRRR!!! " Wha- my body shook in insinct. I feel threatened just now. Is it... Momma Snake? I slither to the direction where the roar is which is back to the birthplace. As I close in I gaped. ' MAMMA SNAKE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!! ' I then froze, is this, mama snake? The enormous creature with a size of the giant pink worm from Spongebob is my MOM?!! Her hood opened as she roared and hiss. The black red-eyed serpent then began to attack one of my siblings. Black liquid spurred my vision. The liquid touched my face and for once I flinch getting a cold blooded feeling. Is this my sibling's blood? [ A mother snake can eat her babies but additonal to this world they eat because there are no food to be found. ] Bull...poop.. ' Is there really no food here? ' [ Poisonous berries seemed to have an effect on the mother because she has babies of an amount of 1,567 she becomes vulnerable and therefore eating her children can devoure her hunger. ] Well, adios my dear family I should hide. Wait.. Is it possible for me to eat my siblings too? [ Yes. Are you? ] ' What? No!! They will all be killed by Mama Snake. I will eat her. ' [ Well good luck with that. ] ' ......Thank you. ' I slither away. [ Your not eating her? ] ' Pfft are you an i***t? No! I never fought and therefore is inferior to her strength. [ Just asking. What are you doing? ] I slither to where the poisonous berries are. I stare at it for awhile and take a bite of it. [ Woah woah woah what are you doing? ] ' Eating now shush I'm asking for peace. ' [ But it's poisonous- ] ' Better to die trying. ' I do wonder if there's skills though. Suddenly I felt burning in my teeth, I flinch as the acid from the berries burn my skin. But I continued eating. [ Stop stop System is too young to die!! ] ' Will you shut up-Ack-!! ' My throat felt sore and my stomach started churning but I continued eating the berries. My eyes tear up. Never knew berries exist here. Suddenly I felt wobbly and fall to the ground. Vision heavy and blurred. ____________________________ Silence.  I open my eyes slowly, my head hurts. ' I slithered to where the eggs are and still 15 eggs are unhatched. Hmm. I sit next to the eggs. I really don't know when they will open.. I do wonder what snakes taste like but it's another kind of snakes since this is not my world.  I furrowed my imaginary eyebrows. why do I feel bad eating them. Their not really my siblings. Ugh whatever, if their the only thing that makes me level up to Mama Snake's level them I can eat her and become powerful mwahahaha.  All we need to is wait.. ____________________________ * Crack * Crack " SSSsssss " Hm? I open my eyes. Oh! Their here. 15 baby snakes slivering everywhere like their dancing.  ' ....... ' [ ??? ] ' Is this wrong that I think their adorable? ' [ Very. But your a snake mabye you think it's like a regular baby. Go on eat them. ] Oh right, I should eat them. I lean on them making them lunge on my face. I didn't move because it felt like their showering kisses on me. The snakes coo. D-Did they think I'm their mama?  ' Wait. ' [ Hm? ] ' I'm a guy right? ' [ Why do you ask that? ] ' It's ...just tell me. ' [ Do you want me to check you under? ] ' A-Ah.. ' [ Kidding.. we just check your tail, it's how we clarify. ] ' Ok.. ' [ Yes. ] I sighed, whatever fits their scales. I slither where the berries are which is beside the eggs that are already hatched.  [ You can eat the shells. I smell it's edible. ] ' Smell? ' [ Just..it's edible. ] ' Okay.. I will eat the berries first. ' I took a bite on the berries. Huh? it doesn't burn as before. Great!! I digest them.  [ One of them is about to eat it. ] I stopped and immidietely look around.  Then I saw one of my siblings slithering near the poisonous berries. I quickly slither and hiss at my sibling causing them to back away and whimper. ' There there, I'm just scolding you. ' Guess I have to eat all the berries to make them unable to eat them accidentally. I snatch the berries and ate them. I look around if there's more berries, none, good. I then neared to the eggs to eat them until I saw one no five fidgeting like their throwing a tantrum. Omy- I'll be a caretaker.. [ Their hungry. ] I know that!!  ' Does eating the shell of the eggs affect them? ' [ Let's see. No. Their alright. ] ' Great. Uh how do I let them eat it? ' I took a bite on the soft shell and gulp it down. ' Yikes the liquid taste bad. So bitter and rotten. ' I turn to my siblings and find them also eating some whimpered because of the taste. I giggled inside as how they feast is how ' my ' snakes feast their prey. Using their quick head. As I think about it, I begin to grow.  [ Your armor began to shift. ' [ Yes. ] I sighed internally. ' Okay. ' What are the genders of each snake.  [ 10 boys and five girls. Name them accordingly to their appearance or behavior, it'd be easier. ] I slither infront of a snake who leaned on a half eaten egg, how cute.  ' I'll call you.. Lean...er? ' [ Lame TT.. ] ' SHUT UP!! I GET TO NAME THEM NOT YOU!! ' [ My imaginary ears.. ] ' You'll be Leaner, an EPIC name for an EPIC dude yes. ' The boys names was: Leaner, Snapper ( because he's cranky ), Stoney ( a grey snake ), Spunky ( he got that spunk ), Ocean ( blue as the sea ), Smokey ( Also grey ), Creeper ( He can have an award for being a ninja ), Poison ( Because he's so green and has red eyes ), Slither ( I'm getting lazy ), Armor ( He's black scales look like armor ). [ They will evolve according to the names you've given them. ] Wait- really?  I turn to the five female snakes. The girl's names: Forest ( Light green color ), Sky ( White and blue why not ), Ruby ( Red as ruby ), Emerald ( Green as emerald ), Flower ( Delicate and fragile looking snake ). Yes I named all of them. [ Evolution starts now. You rest. I will alarm you if the mother snake comes back. ] ' Nice- ' I passed out. [ .... ] ______________________________________ I open my eyes and sit up right away.  ' System if something happens to them you- ' [ Their fine sheesh, you will remember who is who now. ] ' Huh? ' I sweatdrop, did they really change that bad? I turn around. Where are my babies?  " Hisss.. " I quickly look to that direction. Suddenly I felt that my jaw was gaped open. THE HECK, NAMES REALLY CHANGE THAT MUCH?!!! [ They also have their armor plus their names congrats. The eggs are all digested by your snakes. ] First up the boys: Leaner. He became bigger I guess 10 inches tall I think others are but still smaller than me. He has black grey color and a droozy appearance.  [ Skill: Armor +5, acid spit +10, Sleeping gas. ] Snapper: He has an orange and red stipped colors, he's mouth makes a sharp tooth form to show he's snappy. [ Skill: Armor +5, acid spit +10, Ferocious bite. ] Smokey: A grey snake that's almost see through.  [ Skill: Armor +5, acid spit +10, Smoke transportation. ] Spunky: Yellow snake with a confident and outgoing look. I gotta say, I look intimidating. I guess my stats are too weak to have stone eyes. [ Medusa  Skill: Armor +10, acid spit +30, stone eyes ( Only for minor portions ) ] I sighed, at least I can still turn someone to stone but it has limits, depends the sizes mabye. I won't use it on Mama Snake since we need to feast. Alright, stats close. I can communicate with .... my children right? It really feels weird to call baby snakes children. [ Yes of course. ] I nod and turned to the snakes. ' Alright. ' ' Wow mommy talks!! ' ' You don't seem like a she mommy. ' ' I'm hungry.. ' ' She just fed us shush. ' I bursted out inwardly. BWAHAHAHAHA My babies develop my sense in modern speaking. Great. ' Alright my babies, time to hunt for food! ' ' Your feeding us again mama? ' ' Yes! But it's meat!! ' The snakes tilt their head. ' What's meat? ' I sweatdrop. ' Well.. um a mushier, softer .. you guys will see soon. ' I never tasted meat here anyway.. The snakes look excited as I slither away finding Mama Snake. ' Oh Mama Snake where are you~. ' Damn, when you don't want to encounter something but you did but once you want to encounter something you got nothing. Ugh so frustrating. * THUMP!! Oya? I slither closer to the sound across the corner of the thick space.  It might be another monster who knows but at least there's meat right? [ Mother Snake is here feasting a horde of velociraptors. ] She already found food? Good for her, save it for my children! ' Wait Isn't velciraptors a dinosaur? ' [ They are considered raptors that exists to this time here. Never been to your world really. ] ' I see, dinasaurs are considered animals here I can tell their skin are very smooth and flexible. ' [ Yes. Humans and some other raises haunt them for their skin and meat. ] So their still gonna get extinct, poor them.. ' Children. ' The baby snakes perked up. ' Yes mama? ' ' If possible, hunt the remaining small creatures over there while I hunt the big one. ' The snakes nod. ' Remember, if you guys die, I will be sure to use your skin as a momentum. ' The snakes shivered. ' Yes mama. ' They replied with confidence making me nod. ' I'm such a proud mama. ' I sniffled inwardly. [ Yeah sure, threatening your babies not to die is a great mama thing to do.. ] ' Shut up. ' We separate making me the only one running after a giant black serpent sized snake. Mama snake hissed as she turn to me feeling threatened. Yes, me running after you makes you attack me, go ahead Mama Snake. As Mama Snake's head move a bit backwards I jump to the side making me reach the sharp roof. Mama snake then quickly attacks the ground where I once stand. So I'm right, her preparing for an attack slows her while actually attacking makes her speed increase. [ The skill, Predator is about to unleash from her, it allows her to sneak and follows the prey's movements. ] I see.  [ Unleash quick sense, it's not powerful but allows you to know what's attacking from only 5 meters away. ] Good enough. As the crumbling of the ground makes the area foggy it could give an advantage to Mama snake, gotta be careful. As I wait for the fog to disappear I realize that the huge body of Mama snake isn't there anymore, there I only realize that she's right behind me.  I turn around and quickly let go of the roof. Yes. The knowledge of anime gives me intelligence of battle! But since she's big, she quickly headbutts me to the wall giving much force to break a bit of my armor. ' GH-!! ' The baby snakes turn around in alarm. ' Mama? ' ' do you need help? ' I coughed as I let go of the wall.  ' You see this children.. this is your old mama, I will fight her and feast her. ' I do wonder what's their reaction in a time like this.
