A little Angle's Birthday
The day Anna was born, the whole city was celebrating Christmas.
Twinkling lights from the giant Christmas tree in the city center shone through the hospital window, casting a soft glow over the tiny, adorable baby girl who had just entered the world.
Everyone in the room was instantly captivated by the magical scene.
There she was—an angelic little being with emerald green eyes like the sky after rain, radiant and full of life.
A black-haired nurse gently carried the baby to her exhausted mother, who lay resting on the hospital bed.
Rose looked at the child she had just brought into the world and gave a satisfied smile.
At long last, she had a baby girl.
Three years later, Anna started kindergarten.
Watching their little angel follow the teacher into the classroom, Rose and her husband Henry couldn't hold back their tears.
They sniffled quietly, wiping their eyes as their baby girl walked away bravely.
Their three sons stood nearby, helpless in the face of their parents' waterworks.
The second son, Harry, muttered sarcastically:
— "I didn’t see you cry like that on my first day of school."
The other two brothers suddenly recalled their own first school days—how their parents looked more like they had just won the lottery than sent a child off to school.
They slipped away immediately.
But seeing their adorable little sister heading off to class made even the three brothers a little emotional.
There would be no more scenes of their sweet baby sister standing at the gate, waiting for them to come home.
The whole family—five pairs of eyes—watched Anna through the classroom window.
Only when she smiled and started playing with her classmates did they finally turn to leave.
Thanks to her cuteness and friendly nature, Anna was instantly adored by both her classmates and the teachers.
On her very first day, she wore a bright pink princess dress.
Her thick golden hair and sparkling emerald eyes made her look just like a little princess straight out of a storybook.
As soon as she walked into class, she captured everyone’s attention.
A curly-haired boy sitting at the front desk turned around, eyes wide:
— “Are you a princess?”
Anna tilted her head thoughtfully, then gave a mischievous grin:
— “I’m my mommy and daddy’s daughter. What about you?”
The boy rested his chin on his hands, face serious like he was signing an important contract:
— “I’m a superhero. I protect princesses!”
And just like that, Anna had her first bodyguard in kindergarten.
During playtime, the teacher handed out colored pens.
Anna received a bright pink one. She held it up, her eyes sparkling like she had just discovered treasure.
— “This pen will help me draw a castle!”
Soon, a group of little kids gathered around her. Each had a different color, and together they began drawing an entire kingdom—complete with princes, princesses, flying dragons, and even a… mini-mart next to the castle to "buy ice cream when it gets hot."
Outside the window, Anna’s three brothers—who had supposedly gone home with their parents—were secretly hiding in the schoolyard, spying on their little sister.
Harry muttered:
— “She already made friends with that curly-haired kid. He doesn’t look very trustworthy.”
The oldest brother raised an eyebrow:
— “He’s three years old. How trustworthy do you expect him to be?”
Still, the three brothers stayed… until they were caught by the school guard and chased back home.
