Meet Seo-Yeon
4 Days in L.A ✋ Do not copy this novel! ✋ . . .Solemnly written by Lucy boøks ❤️. . . #Episode one# *Authoress Pov* *Korea* Seo-Yeon had always dreamed of paying a visit to United States of America. She had always imagined herself in California,New York or Atlanta. These were her dream country. She could Decide to go there but, she had no money. She always worked hard to strive for her family. Well... She didn't have one. She only lived with her only surviving blood, her grandmother in the country side of Korea. Even if she had a chance to go to one of these country, it would be very difficult to leave her grandmother behind. But all she had to do, was wait, hope, and still keep dreaming. Till one faithful summer morning... Seo-Yeon "Seo-Yeon!" "Am coming grandmother" I got to where she was. Grandmother was gradually getting old. And she's been having issues with her health. I really want her to live very long. At least for me. "Were you daydreaming again?" I kept mute. "I pray God hears you and Grant your wishes" "Even if Grandma. I can't still leave you" I said hastily. She laughed weakly. "Not all is privileged to live long". I tilted my head as she said that. "Run to the medicine store and update all my drugs". She said as she passed me some pennies. I nodded, and skipped all the way there. Grandma never liked English drugs. She only preferred medicinal herbs. But she started taking the English products as her health wasn't improving. But yet, she would always say her time was getting near. I got to the pharmacy, and purchased the medicine and was about heading back when I overheard two ladies talking. "This is such a big opportunity" One said. "Yes. All thanks to them, we might get chosen to fly to the states" The other squealed. I went over to where they stood. "Excuse me. What are you talking about?". "Haven't you heard? Empire Company are handing out lucky tickets for a trip to California". My eyes gleamed as she said that. "Really?! Why would they do that?" I asked. "Empire group is one of the largest company in the whole of Korea, so I guess they decided to show a little kindness to their customers". "No way! Am sure they want to make more money and Fame that's why they came up with this brilliant idea" The other lady argued. "It's all over the news. Am shocked you haven't heard". "Since they are giving free tickets, does this mean someone wouldn't pay even a dollar?" I asked. "Of course they would. Empire group sells the form #7000 dollars each, and they are selecting five lucky people each, from every part of Korea which is the South, East, West, and North". My smile dropped as she said that. #7000 dollars?! Where would I get that huge sum of money from? I haven't even seen that amount in my life. Aigo. I guess this is the end for me. Even if I was picked, I wouldn't leave grandma. I walked home sadly. When I got home, I helped grandma in taking her drugs. I hope she gets well soon. "Bok Nam dropped by" She told me. Bok Nam is an elderly man who has always helped us. He helps me with the farm work, and chores at times. "He told me about the news. You should go" She continued. "I can't purchase the form". She brought out a slip under her pillow. I saw the Empire logo drawn neatly on it with other details I couldn't see. Wait. Did she... "I got the form for you" She said my mind. Omg. She's joking with me. I took the slip and read through it. Aigo! She really bought the form!! "B-but, grandmother. How did you get the money to get this form?" I asked still shocked. "I gave Bok Nam our harvested ginseng. He sold it and got the money to buy a form". I hugged her. Gosh... this is like a dream come true! I pulled away sadly. "But grandmother, how can I ever leave you?" "Ahh Seo-Yeon! You worry way too much. Bok Nam will always be here and besides, you won't spend more than a week there". I didn't realise when tears filled my eyes. "Dry your tears my child" She said as she stroked my hair gently. TBC. How's this for a start?? Am thinking m not gonna be perfect in this story, but I'll try. And besides. Let's all pretend everything I wrote was in the Korean language . Cause Seo-Yeon can't speak the foreign language (English) Only the rest of the characters can speak it. Like and comment pls. And Join my group. Lucy boøks ❤️.
