~ Madeline ~ Compared to Erin’s sunny disposition Dante’s dark visage was down right stormy. I glanced at the dishes and back to Dante, watching him all but sulk over to the dishes picking up the stack of plates and disappearing into the next room. His mood was giving me whiplash, one moment he was being thoughtful, almost sweet, and the next glaring at me like the last thing he wanted was to be anywhere near me. Uneasy and with an encouraging glance from Erin I picked up the silverware and followed Dante into the dinning room, watching his shoulders tense as I entered the room. He was moving around the table, setting down plates and napkins at each place setting.
