5 years later, Ana was a single mother working in Eagles law firm Abuja.
Life hasn't been easy on her leaving Lagos to Abuja. She and her friend Shade were living together.
Ana has started a new life in Abuja, and she's willing to do all she can for her son, Gabriel.
Gabriel attends De-best Nursery school.
Monday morning, Ana woke up bathed for Gabriel, dressed for him and went to the bathroom to have her bath.
She got dressed and woke Shade who was still sleeping like a log.
' What time is it?' Shade asked as she stretched her arms.
' You wan put your hand for my eyes' Ana complained
'I'm sorry' She yawned. 'Buh seriously what's time?'
' it's seven o'clock' She answered
Ana went down to feed Gabriel some food and off they went heading to his school before she going to work.
Ana was the head lawyer because of how good she was and has won many cases for the firm. . She had always wanted to be a lawyer but George had restricted her.
As she entered into the law firm she was bombarded with greetings back and forth.
Barrister Eze has been in love with her for years but she never gave him any chance.
As soon as he heard that she was around he rushed to her office.
'Good morning miss Joseph or should I say soon to be Mrs. Eze'
' Please can you not start this morning. You men don't even have any respect for women.'
'Why would you just barge in like that. What nonsense!'
'Why are you taking it the wrong way? I just want to be in your life and love you, that's all'
'That's what you men will say, but the moment we get trapped into marriage our misery begins'
'That not it you know how much I love you'
' God punish you and your love. Have told you countless times that love is not for me.'
' Please leave my office! Now!' She shouted angrily.
Barrister Eze left disappointed as always but was still clear about wanting her.
I mean who wouldn't want an endowed woman.
Ana worked on her self over the years, She ate her oats smoothies every day to keep her tummy flat and her hips thick.
Her back side were bigger and her front was gifted after she gave birth to Gabriel.
Barrister Eze was not the only one who had professed love to her but she always gave them what they needed to hear which was 'NO' .
The female lawyers who were jealous of her nicknamed her as 'Love is not for me'.
She didn't care about what anyone thought of her. She was bold and independent like she always say.
Things had changed over the years.
George and Tumi has been married for five years but had no kids .
They argued everyday about not having kids.
George goes around sleeping with everywoman he had chance with.
Last week Tumi caught him with his assistant on their bed, she was angry, ashamed and confused.
She had confronted him a couple times but still no change .
Although unlike Ana he never raised his hands on her, not because he loved her but because her family were influential and he knew he would land in jail.
Tumi doesn't satisfy him as much as Ana did. With Ana he could do what ever he pleases to do, whatever styles he wished to do.
With Ana s*x was different, s*x was sweet. It was magical like he always say.
Ever since they got married things changed, their s*x life became weak.
Every four minutes Tumi complained about belly ache. s*x with Tumi wasn't really what he wanted.
It was just there.
He misses Ana's touch, she gave him s*x whenever he wanted and sometimes he forces her to.
He can't dare to force Tumi.
Tumi loved him, she had always loved him. From the very moment she set her eyes at him.
Even before Ana married him, she had always craved for him, his touch. To be in his life.
And now that she had him, it was.. Complicated, not what she expected but she had him anyways and she won't let him go.
She knew he won't let her go, because of the numerous business proposal he's got through her family.
Yes he was abusive towards Ana, but she thought that he was doing for her.
