Chapter 1
On a Sunday morning in Lagos, the sun is shining, sounds of worship were heard from churches across different streets.
Ana was preparing for church like a typical Nigerian Christian, dressed in a long fitted gown with a small side slit.
She was heavenly endowed behind, but her front was okay but not that big but manageable.
She was fair skinned but has bruises on her face due to the massive beating her husband gave her last night.
A round face, small round lips which were very sexy, part of the reason why her husband, George , fell for her.
After dressing, she went down to the sitting room to meet her husband
'Ummm...' Feeling scared. ' Darling I'm off to church' She paused looked at him and continued.
' I've served your meal, fried rice and chicken to be precise' she smiled to make him pleased.
' But what about the one I need right now, and who gave you the permission to wear this cloth.' He was about to get angry which made her scared
' Woman! you're not going anywhere until you've satisfied my needs' He shouted in a commanding tone.
She shivered and moved back a little ' I want to go to church,I'm late already. I promise you'll have me as......' He interrupted her.
George stood up and moved closer, she began shaking knowing that she had made a grave mistake.
He held her hand with a strong grip.
'How dare you! Are you refusing me' She looked at him in fear 'Cause you know what will happen to you if you try'
He carried her up to the room, Ana knew she couldn't do anything but to accept.
She ended up not going to church. George isn't a church person, infact he hates anything that has to do with religion.
It all started when he lost both his parents, especially his mother. George and his Mom were so close they were like five and six. He lost his dad at eighteen.
George's father, Dr. Ayo was a renowned pastor in the Redeem Christian church of God. He was loving and loved.
George is the only surviving child of his parents. He had three dead siblings, all boys.
George was an instrumentalist in the church who plays the guitar. Pride was the name of his guitar, because like he always said she was his pride.
His father was just returning from a crusade when his car tumbled and hit a truck. He was rushed to the hospital.
On his death bed he made him promise. ' My son promise me you'll take care of your mother when I'm gone'
' No! Dad you're going to be fine' George said in tears.
'Promise me son' He promised his dad, crying like a little child.
' Be strong son' These were his father's last words.
He was devastated but had to be strong for his mother. As a result of his father's death, his mother began to have heart issues.
He blamed God for his father's death. If his father hadn't gone to the so called crusade he might have been alive. So he thought.
He abandoned church for months until his mother talked him into going, which he did.
Ten years later, already engaged to Christiana Joseph whom he was madly in love with.
His mother had heart failure issues. Which was very fatal. She was hospitalized undergoing CRT, Cardiac resynchronization therapy.
His mother approved of their marriage, and wished to see her son get married before she passed.
On the day of their wedding, George wasn't very happy because his mother couldn't attend.
Later that evening he got a call from the hospital that his mother had passed.
He couldn't take it. His mother's last wish were 'TELL MY SON TO NEVER LET GO OF GOD.'
He blamed God for her death, for taking his precious mother away from him.
He was angry at his mother for remembering God even in her death bed.
Since then he has never gone to church or pray. He lost faith in God and things changed from that day.
