The day after, Tumi, Ana's friend came visiting. After Ana had told her about the massive beating her husband gave her. They were both in the sitting room sipping their glass of orange juice and chatting. 'I'm so sorry babe' Tumi felt sorry for her Tumi has always been by Ana's side since high school. They did things together, lived in the same house 'I honestly think you should end this marriage. The guy's an animal' Ana was really confused, regardless of how violent he was she still loved him. Ana and George met at a praise concert, For him it was love at first sight, for her it was crush at first sight. His body was fit, nice jawline and sweet smile. He asked her for her number which she gave him cause she couldn't take her eyes of him. They went out on several dates, Attended concerts until he proposed. They were really in love. Things really changed after they got married. 'Girl you need to end things with that bastard' Tumi said in anger. 'I love him, it's not as easy as you think. I mean you're not in love so you won't understand ' Tumi was a tall slim girl with beautiful legs, one side dimples that any man would die for. She has been in several relationships but were all in vain. Few minutes later, George arrived. Ana rushed to collect his bag. ' Hey baby ' She tried hugging him but he set her aside. ' Tumi, hi ! ' Ana looked at Tumi and ran up to the room in tears. Later George came to the room. He looked at Ana and hissed. ' Why! What have I done to deserve this. We were happy before we got married. So Full of love. What happened! ' she said in tears. ' I'm not ready to have this conversation with you' 'Really!' she stood in his front. ' Look I want us to go to the way things were. We've been married for three years, babe.' 'Get out of my way!' He shouted as he pushed her away. 'Your Mother would not have want this' 'Don't you dare call my mother' He gave her a heavy slap on her face. She began to cry. Thinking about what had gone wrong. 'This wasn't the man I married ' These were the words echoing in her head. She remembered that Tumi was downstairs. She cleaned herself up and went to meet her. 'I'm so sorry for keeping you waiting really sorry.' She apologized 'What happened to your face? The f**k! He did this to you didn't he?' 'I'm fine' 'Are you? Your cheeks her red' She turned her face to check clearly. 'End this before it's too late' ' I might give him one last chance. Look I love him and it's really hard for me to leave him' ' F**k your love. If he loves you he wouldn't behave like this towards you. I'm telling you this cause I love you and you know' ' I'm going to the hospital tomorrow, I've been feeling a little bit sick' ' Why won't you when he has turned you into his punching bag.' Ana felt broken. She loved him but this was too much to handle. He doesn't look at her with love the way he used to. She has tried hating him but she couldn't. He was her first love, besides having lots of boyfriends which she never loved. He was the one who made her feel special, who showed her the meaning of love. Her childhood wasn't really great, coming from a poor background and loosing her mother during her birth. If any one could understand George's pain, she could. Growing up without a mother was really hard on her. Her father showed her both the love of a mother and also a father but it wasn't enough. She still missed her mom. When every of her friends talked about their mom, she would always excuse herself because she had no mother. Her father died at sixteen so she had to fend for herself. Until the Johnson family took her in. Ana was very grateful to be part of Tumi's family.
