Serina It was still dark outside when I was called to the throne room to meet the witch council again; luckily for me, I was awake when the young witch ‘Megara’ she had told me on our way down had come for me. Besides that, it was a quiet walk, and I couldn’t help but feel weary. The doors swung open, revealing the same four thrones, but the witches were centred around a circular table, and a map was sitting on that table. “Come Serina” I approached the white-marbled table and had to rub my eyes. Before me, it was more than just a map. The whole surface rose from the table, the map itself moving with life and sound. I could see the path I had travelled on, the burnt remains of Alloa, and the Rumbling Giant that I had spent the night in. As I neared, I noticed something not quite right.
