Serina I Woke groggy; my body hurt, and I could smell fresh blood; a ringing in my ears drowned out all else. The walls exploded. Rouges. War. As I pieced together what had happened beyond me, I could see wolves attacking. Some launched themselves onto people, ripping parts of the victim as they went. Some lay dead. Their eyes ever open, staring into mine. Flashes of power lit the darkened city, and everywhere, screams rang in the air, some wolf, some witch, some human.
