I was the last one to wake up from the nap we had since I slept late with a lot on my mind.
“You guys should have woken me, I kept you guys waiting.” I said to them when i was fully awake.
“We didn't want to disturb you so we let you rest.” Damien replied, packing up. We still haven't decided where we were going and how we would get there.
“Where exactly are we to find horses?” I asked, walking with my full back pack.
“Well, we'll have to walk there, be ready.” Damien prepared our kind and we set out immediately. It was a tiring one but we kept going. The sun was so hot that even the canopy of the trees weren't helping in any way.
The air was filled with a sweet scent and that got me going. I heard distant chatter of birds on the trees which in some weird way helped calm my nerves.
