The next morning, we woke up looking all dazed. The weather was cold and it was very difficult to wake up but then Duty and responsibilities called and we had to answer.
We had a quick preparation, just had our bath and with new clothes, we were ready to see the king and as I guessed rightly he was waiting for us in his throne room.
He had this sad look on his face and all I could think of was him rejecting our offer. I felt bad that we had come to this place with so much high expectations and we were leaving so suddenly with no good news.
We bowed before him and waited for him to say something but he asked us to sit.
“I have thought about your proposal and knowing that it could make things tedious for me, I still choose to help you.” He said and I almost jumped up in excitement. “
