Way Too Soon

Going into the Fout's family house , everyone staring .He bowed his head to greet everyone but they all turned a cold shoulder . Jane ,their mother enthusiastically introduced Joel to the family as their new sibling . Wendy , the first born went over to greet him ."Hey ,I'm Wendy and you are .....? " she said ." I'm Joel Fury nice to meet you Wendy ." " let me show you around " Wendy said . The other boys ,Tony and Henry continued playing video games as tony said,"what's up with Wendy ? " Wendy showed him around"This will be your room it's next to Tony's room because you'll be sharing the same bathroom ." She finished showing him around and finally it was time for dinner . Everything was ready it looked as if they were having a mini thanksgiving then suddenly Jane gave a speech and thanked everyone especially her husband for accepting to adopt Joel even though they have their own children . Joel still shy could not even lift his eyes to look at anyone on the table . Dinner was over and finally it was time to go to bed . Early Tuesday morning everyone's getting ready for school . Wendy calls out Joel for they were already late . Although the day was going well ,Joel couldn't forget the change of environment ,that he didn't have friends not to add Tony and Henry didn't show any interest in knowing or hanging out with him . Joel walked in an ongoing chemistry class . "Alright beautiful people this is Joel Fury a transfer student from St. John's Highschool .Please have a seat ". Mr. Oarkley said .He proceeded and sat next to Tom ,the naughtiest boy in whole of The Markey's Highschool ."Hi I'm Tom ,raising an eyebrow ". H h h h h hi I I I I I I'm J J Joel "." Ha ha ha ha ha, "Tom let out a laugh ."You stammer or you're just shy pretty boy?" Joel didn't answer . "Okay Tom enough of your shenanigans. What is an ionic bond........... " the class went on . News spread fast like the wildfire that happened in Los Angeles ."Joel is adopted ".He sat across Beth ,the beauty queen of Markey's Highschool. "Have you seen Joel ? where has he disappeared to? (sounding worried )."Wendy questioned but no one knew where Joel was and it was his first day so not everyone got a clear look of this face to memorize it. Joel was hiding in the storage room shaking, with his knees to his chest and his head settled at his knees. The storage room was dark, dusty and full of small insects roaming around as if they were in their den. "Do it slowly Alex we don't want anyone finding our we are here it's a secret remember! " Joel would hear voices things breaking. He creeped. It was Beth the beauty queen! with a guy called Alex who was in senior year. What were they doing in the storage room all by themselves? "Put it back in Alex."Beth whispered. She was holding a book but what was inside. Joel shoved a box that hit the floor with a loud bang. "what was that?" Beth whispered. Joel his behind a rusty cupboard."let's leave someone might find us here. I told to be quiet." As they were leaving in a hurry the book that Beth had fell down. But she didn't notice. Joel walked over and took the book and what he saw almost made his jaw hit his clavicle. It was a picture of the principal with young kids who went missing a few years back closed in a room. But why were they hiding it? Is the big question. Joel had no idea of what happened so he just held the book and left. Rushing to Wendy he had a head on collision with a junior girl and the picture slid under the student lockers. he didn't notice. "Sorry I didn't see you coming," "it's okay "she replied. He left in a hurry and found Wendy all troubled. As soon as she saw him she hugged him tightly not to let go. "Where have you been?" she said sobbing. "I'm okay just went for a walk. But listen to this I found this book and you won't believe what I found." Joel only heard about this story cause it made news everywhere."There us a picture of the school princi............" "Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh" Wendy pulled his hand as they headed to the science lab."Don't say his name out loud." "I found this and guess what Beth and Alex had it." Wendy took the book and found nothing. She brushed him off and went to class. In class Wendy say next to Joel and told him not to make assumptions about the principal. "We don't want to answer stuff that we don't even know about okay Joel don't mention anything about it. "
