It took some coaxing, by Kimberly, to get Crystal to agree, and even Alex's proposal to Michael wasn't accepted without a touch of drama. "A friend of Kimberly's?" Michael had said, and didn't immediately enough follow with a yes to keep Alex from feeling like Kimberly had been disrespected, although she just laughed and told him he was being too sensitive when he told her about it.
"He probably just didn't want to sound desperate. You know how boys are, always posturing."
