"Okay," Kimberly said, "you both know why you're here: to maybe date. So I'm just putting that right out into the open and you two can get past any awkwardness."
"Kim!" Crystal slapped her shoulder. She ducked her head and hid her face in her hands. Her ears turned bright red.
"What? We were all thinking it. Better to have it said out loud."
