Blurb

Elara and Ethan’s love story begins like a dream—two hearts drawn together by fate, laughter, and shared moments of tenderness. But happiness proves fragile when Mira, Ethan’s best friend, harbors a secret obsession that threatens to unravel everything.

Through misunderstandings and manipulations, Elara and Ethan are torn apart, leaving her to raise their unborn twins alone while he goes abroad to protect them from danger. Seven years later, their reunion rekindles feelings that time could not erase—but the shadow of Mira’s obsession looms larger than ever.

What follows is a gripping tale of love, loss, and resilience. As Mira’s obsession escalates into a tragic c****x, lives are shattered, and Elara must summon every ounce of courage to protect her family and honor the memory of the man she loves.

This novel is a heart-wrenching exploration of the power of love, the consequences of obsession, and the strength of a mother determined to survive against impossible odds. With tender moments of joy and devastating loss, it is a story that will linger in the reader’s heart long after the final page.

Chapter One: The Meeting
The rain poured hard that night. The streets were wet, and the lights outside the café looked blurry through the window. Inside, it was warm and quiet, the sound of raindrops soft in the background. Elara sat in her favorite spot near the window. A cup of chamomile tea rested on the table, but she had barely touched it. She held a book in her hands, though she wasn’t really reading. She liked being there, watching the rain, feeling less lonely. The door opened, and the bell above it rang. Elara glanced up—and froze. A man walked in. His hair was damp from the rain, his jacket darkened with water. He looked around the café with calm eyes—grey, sharp, and deep, like the storm outside. And then, for a moment, his eyes met hers. Elara quickly looked back down at her book, her heart beating faster. Why am I staring? He’s just a stranger. He ordered a coffee and turned to find a seat. But every table was full—except for the one across from her. He walked over. “Mind if I sit here?” His voice was low but kind. Elara’s throat felt dry. “S-sure,” she said softly. He sat down. For a while, neither of them spoke. Only the rain filled the silence. Finally, he nodded toward her book. “Wuthering Heights,” he said. “That’s a sad one.” She looked at him, surprised. “You’ve read it?” “A long time ago,” he replied with a small smile. “It’s about love that never dies—even if it hurts.” Elara’s lips curved slightly. “Maybe that’s the real kind of love,” she whispered. Something passed between them then, quiet but strong. She swallowed, her voice low. “I’m Elara.” He leaned forward, as if the name meant something. “Ethan.” And in that rainy café, with nothing but two names shared, something began—something that would change both of their lives forever.
