My Enchantress

The sweet fragrance of the flower brought peace to the woman who sat in the shade of the huge tree. Her back is leaning carelessly in the sturdy trunk. Her face looks so serene. Her long ash blond curly long hair sways gently along with the soft breeze in the field.

Not far from the tree where the woman sat, there is a tall man with  black raven hair who is looking at the woman with eyes full of admiration. He was strolling around the area when he saw the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes on.

He cannot look away from the beautiful scenery. He was just standing there and looking at the woman. If someone can see him they would think that he is a creepy man. He didn't attempt to approach the lady because he don't want to disturb her slumber. He just content himself from looking afar.

The gentle breeze fanning her face wake her in her beautiful dream. Cassie feel so refresh after her nap. She stretch her aching limbs and took a deep breath to fill her lungs with fresh air.

A small noise was heard not far away from where she stand. After a minute a loud bark of the dog was heard. Cassie gave a soft chuckle when she felt a soft ball of fur rubbing on her stretch arm. She lovingly caress the fur who got full of her attention.

"Is it time to go home Jester??" she sweetly ask the dog.

The dog bark at her as if he was answering her query. Cassie slowly stretch her hand to get the dogs tie attached to it's collar. Then she slowly got up from sitting against the tree.  When the dog saw that she's ready to leave, the dog face the route they will going to take and it patiently wait for Cassie to go.

" Let's to go home Jester."

Jester gave a small bark and slowly lead the way home.

The woman didn't see how the face of the man looking at her from afar form into a bewilderment.

When the woman and the dog slowly walk on their way home. The man follow them slowly not taking away his piercing eyes to the woman in front of him. The dog stop abruptly when it smell something unusual. It growls lowly and trying to feel some danger and ready to pounce if something will attract them. The girl felt the dog's uneasiness and stop walking trying to use her senses. She look at her left and right trying to know if there is someone coming there way.

"What's wrong Jester?" she gently cooed the startled animal.

The man stop walking and trying to hide himself at the woman and the dog who have sensed his presence. He hold his breath trying to make himself discreet so that the woman and the dog will not know that they're being followed.

When the woman didn't sense anything wrong she reach the stiff dog and sooth the dogs fur with her free hand.

"It's okay Jester it's just an animal lurking around." her soft voice filled the silence.

The dog relax at her hands and gave her hand a small lick that made the woman smile.

They continue their walk and the man behind her didn't go further to follow her. He just stay where he is standing and his eyes promising that this will not be the last time that he will see the beautiful woman.

Ayesha is a fighter since she was a baby. Even though she has a very delicate features and she cannot hurt a fly she remain to be a strong woman until now.

When she woke up one morning. She heard her mom and dad arguing about something. It is a half yell whisper that she cannot understood fully what their problem is.

She rise up from bed and slowly walk to the bathroom to do her morning routine. After a few minutes she went downstairs to eat breakfast. Her mom and dad are still arguing when she walk in the dining hall. They only stop when they saw her.

"Good morning mom, dad!!" she greeted them enthusiastically not minding their argument.

"Oh honey your awake. Come here breakfast is ready." her mom gently pull her to sit on the chair.

"Ayesha my princess daddy has something to tell you  . ." her dad's sentence was cut off by the snarl of her mother.

"Oh cut it Arthur!! Let my daughter finish breakfast first."

Ayesha's spoon hang on air when her mother fuming voice boomed on the four walls of the dining hall.

"Ah. . Mom. .Dad are you two fighting?" she softly ask.

"No honey. Don't mind your dad. He is just talking nonsense." Hannah glared at her husband.

Arthur sighed and look at her daughter who is enjoying her breakfast. Maybe it's not good to ruin their breakfast by spilling some beans. He glance at her wife who keep on sending daggers at him. He sighed again and finish his cup of coffee while keeping his mouth shut avoiding to keep her lovely wife from bursting fire.

"What are your plans today honey?" her mom voiced out when she finished her last bite.

Ayesha wipe her mouth with napkin before answering her mothers' query. Her lips formed into a small smile when she remembered her plans for today.

"I'm going to Aunt Aena's house she said she wants me to taste her new found recipe."

"Okay be sure to bring Jester with you hun."

She nod her head and drink the orange juice. When her tummy is already satisfied she went to the sink and wash her plate and utensils.

When she tidied up everything she went to get the leash of her dog.

"Jester!" she went to get her sling bag while calling her dog. She heard the rustling of the dogs bell attached from his collar. When the dog came up to her she felt him lick her and gave ger a cute bark as if telling her that his already there.

She chuckled softly and bend down to stroke Jester's fluffy fur. Jester purred happily. She gently attached the leash on the dogs' collar.

"Are your ready to go Jester?" she asked the dog while petting his head. The dog gave her a bark to answer her query.

When the dog saw that Ayesha is ready to go. He proudly lead the way out the house.

Aunt Aena's house is not too far from their home. It is in the end part of their village near the forest. The village is not large. It is located in the end part of the city where trees covered most part of the village.

It is also a friendly village where most people unites and free from trouble. There are people who greets Ayesha along the way. She gave them her cute smile whenever they greeted her.

Fifteen minutes of walking until she heard Jester bark and came to stop. They already reach their destination. The aroma of a freshly bake cookie tickles Ayesha's nose.

. She can't wait to taste what Aunt Aena is baking.

She went to the porch and when she reached the door she knocked the bear handle. A moment later she heard the soft murmur inside the house and the heavy footstep coming to open the door. When the door opens Aunt Aena gave a small scream of excitement when she saw her favorite niece.

"Hello dear!!" she gave her niece a big hug and lead her inside the house.

"Hi Auntie!! How are you?" Ayesha greet her enthusiastic Aunt and let her lead her inside. Jester trotting beside her and went to his own cushion.

"Hi Jester!!" Aunt Aena also greeted Jester who went to lick her hand. She petted the dog for a while and let the dog play on his cushion.

Aunt Aena link her arms on Ayesha's arm and lead her to the kitchen while telling her how good her freshly cupcakes and cookies and she can't wait to let her taste it.

Ayesha give her aunt a loving smile and she let her Aunt gently pulled her to the kitchen.
