The light was gleaming in from the two grand windows in the large office, they had an arched top that went almost up to the ceiling. The room was almost two stories tall so it looked very imposing with the dark wooded furniture and tapestries hanging on the stone walls. At least it was not dark and gloomy, the windows provided plenty of light to make the room seem inviting, although it did not seem inviting at all to Lina as she sat with her head hung low in the leather chair in front of the mahogany desk.
