Chapter 5

Lucas POV

It’s evening and I am still burning in anger. How dare she called me a rapist. I don’t know why her calling me rapist is affecting me a lot. If it was some one else I would have kill that person but I couldn’t bring myself to kill her. Ever since that kiss in the club I wanted to have her. And I will have her. Once I am done using her I will kill her.

A call on my phone distracted me from my thoughts. I picked up the call. “Hello dad, how are you?” I asked.

“I am fine son what about you?”

“I am good too” I replied while sitting on my bed. “why did you call”

“me and your mom are coming at your place in the morning to meet you as you are so busy to honour us with your presence” he said sarcasticly.

I chuckled “ok dad see you at breakfast” I replied and hang up the phone.

It’s 6pm. I took a quick shower and went out as I had some business to finish.

Amber’s POV

I looked at the clock and it shows 3am. I didn’t sleep at all. How can i? We have been locked in this room from afternoon. Once we were locked no one came. Jane was crying continuously and fall asleep due to tiredness.

It’s our chance. I saw the devil go out in evening and he haven’t came back I guess as I haven’t heard sound of any vehicle. We can’t run away from window as it has iron bars just like a cell. I shook Jane slightly. She woke up startled and looked around. And once again tears form in her eyes. I too so baldy want to cry but this is not the time to cry but to try something to leave.

“ what are we going to do Amber?” she asked.

“Do you trust me Jane?” I asked.

She looked confused but still nodded her head and asked “why?”

“Look, that ‘Devil' is not at home let’s run away”.

She looked terrified by my idea “ how? I mean there must be guards” she said

“yes I Know don’t worry, I will take care of it” I said reassuring her even though I am scared as well. But we can’t just sit here, we have to try whatever we can do to leave this place.

“What are you planning to do Am” She again asked.

“ Just trust me” by saying this I held her hand and moved towards the door. I pushed her beside door and told her to stay there.

I started banging on the door by shouting for help and saying my friend has fainted. After few minutes of banging and shouting I heard someone opening the door. As soon as the door opened he asked “what happened”.

“ my..my friend ha..has fainted please come inside and check on her”. I pleaded and he fall for it. ‘He is alone' I thought. He couldn’t see her as she was standing beside the now opened door which was hiding her.

As soon as he come in I took the iron vas from the table I hit him hard on his head as his back was facing me. He turned around and cursed me “ you b***h”. I hit him again two three times. Blood was coming out of his head and soon he lost consciousness.

“Is h.. is he de.. dead?”. Jane asked me. She must be terrified now. “No he isn’t” I replied and hold her hand again with my one hand still holding the vas in other and took her out of the room after checking no one was there. Of course it’s 3am in the morning. No one will be out and best time for us to escape.

Even though hallway is empty I am still nervous. I am just praying to god that he won’t come back before we escape because if he caught us I don’t know what he will do with us.

I saw two people at the end of the stairs and no one is around. Only two man, maybe it will be easy' i thought. I can fight very well so it should not be too difficult.

“Stay here” I said to her and started going down. She shook her head as no but I smiled at her and took my hand out of her grip. I slowly made my way down trying hard not to make any noise. 'Not so slow' I guess as one man turned around.

“What the hell you are doing here” this got other man's attention as well. I throw the vas in the other man's direction hitting him in the face as I was still away from them.

I punched the first guy when he came near me and kicked him on his member hard. He fall down on his knees holding his member with his hand and I kicked him again and he fell on the floor. The other man recovered and tried to punch me but I dodged it and kicked him on his leg. He lost his balance, I took that opportunity and punch him two three times but the first man came from behind and hold my hand. Before he could do anything I felt his grip loosened and he falls on the floor. I turned and saw Jane has hit his head with a vas. Her hands were shaking badly. I took the vas from her hand and hit the other guy who was still on the floor due to my previous attack.

I took Jane’s hand in my one hand and said let’s go. After walking two three steps I stopped and made my way again towards the guys lying on the floor. Jane looked at me with confusion but I ignored it. I don’t have time to explain.

I got on my knees beside those guys and started checking their clothes. I found what I was looking for, a gun and mobile. We will need this to call the cops and fight the guards if there are more. I took them and made my way towards the main door. I opened the phone but it’s locked. We can’t go back again to take their fingerprint. What if someone came or they attack us again. We have to hurry. I opened the main door slightly and it was open. Thank you God. I peeked outside and there are 4 guards at the main gate at some distance from the front door.

I slowly made my way outside holding Jane's hand. We hide behind a big tree. I check the gun there are 5 bullets. I can do this. I have to do this. I pointed my gun towards my target to shot him near heart to kill him but my hands started shaking. That day's incident started flowing in my mind once again. Jane put her hand on my shoulder and asked in a whisper “ are you okay”. I nodded.

She looks tired. Her expression showing worries. Her eyes and nose looks red due to crying. She is in this condition because of me. I have to do this, to get her out I have to. I took a deep breath and again pointed my gun on my first target and shot him but not at any part that will kill him but in the leg to hurt him enough so that we can run away. I am still terrified to kill anyone. This got all the men's attention. I quickly shot three of them in their legs as well. They were looking around holding their legs. I waited for two three minutes but they didn’t leave. But they have lost a lot of blood I can take them down.

If you are wondering how I shot them without missing a signal shot then I will tell you later. As I already said I don’t have time to explain. I looked around there is no other way we have to face them. I still can’t kill. I have to fight them.

Me and Jane made our way towards them, after picking big stone in our hand. As the guards eyes falls on us they tried to attack but we were fast. We throw our stone at them which took them by surprise and hurting them as well I fought with them and soon when I realized we can’t beat them they are too strong even in this state I shouted “main gate, run Jane” she understood and made her way towards the gate. I too ran towards the gate. Once outside I closed the door and locked it from out side.

I held her hand and we started running as fast as possible.

All the guards are shot on their legs so they won’t be able to catch us soon unless they took a car. Which again will take few minutes as there was no car in a driveway. We just have to hide so they can't catch us. Then we can run away in the morning or maybe tomorrow night when they might stop looking for us. But I didn’t no that God was not on our side. As one black car stopped in front of us. Then two more. The guards can’t come this soon. Then who is in the car. I got my answer when the devil himself came outside the car looking mad, no, not just mad but furious.

‘I am dead now but I will fight till the end.'
