Chapter 6

Lucas POV

I was headed towards my mansion after having few drinks with my friends and mind-blowing s*x with Stella whom I just met in the club.

My mom called me earlier and said she is bringing one guest with her tomorrow morning which I assume to be a 'girl'. My mom always does that, bringing different girls to meet me so that I can settled down with one of them. And by settle down means by marrying her. I am not interested in getting married I want to enjoy my life. And I haven’t found a perfect woman who can take the title of Mafia Queen. Looks like tomorrow morning is going to be hard.

I came out of my thoughts when my phone started ringing. It’s a call from one of my man. I picked up the call. I could hear painful moans from other side

“Hello, is everything alright?” I asked. did someone attacked my house. I have many enemies. I will kill whoever dared to go against me.

“ boss tho.. those girls ran away”

I was shocked. I never expected this. There are guards around my mansion.

“How and when”? I asked while gritting my teeth.

“Just now” he replied. I cut the call and inform my driver not to stop and continue driving as I am right in front of my mansion now. If I couldn’t see them they might have ran away in other direction. If they just left now we can easily catch them. Then I will take care of my men. How can they let them run away.

I am sure everyone would have left to get drinks leaving one person who called me. Those girls might have attaked him from behind and ran away. I will teach my men a lesson for their laziness and disobedience.

Soon I saw two small frame running ahead at some distance. I told my driver to stop in front of them. My friends are following my car. Driver stopped the car in front of them blocking their way to run away anywhere. I came out of my car. Jane started trembling due to fear. My friends came out of their cars as well.

“How did they run away?” Jasper asked. Shock was evident on their face. I was furious right now at my man’s carelessness.

Amber pushed Jane's trembling figure behind her back as if it can protect her from us. I wanted to see her trembling as well but she was doing a good job hiding her fear. Yeah she was scared I can see that. Her legs were shaking slightly. Her hair was mess. She was sweating a lot. There are blood stain on their clothes and some bruises on their body.

I took one step closer to her and she moved back with Jane still behind her. I smirked at her reaction. I took another step and stopped. She pointed a gun towards me with her hands which were shaking slightly.

“ Let us go or else I'll shoot” she said.

I started laughing at her “ go ahead then” I replied mockingly. I once again made my way towards her. She pulled the trigger but I moved away and hold her hands tightly before she can shoot again. I took the gun from her hand and dropped it on the ground. Chris got hold off her friend as well. Jane was crying loudly now.

I wiped the tears from Amber’s face with my one hand while still holding her hands with my other hand.

“ Now that wasn’t a wise decision kitten”. I told her.

“Please let my friend go, I am sorry for what I did at club. Please just let her go”. She begged.

I smiled at her and said “let’s go home and then decide what punishment you guys will get for your today’s stunt”.

I started dragging her towards my car, she was struggling but I am too strong for her. I pushed her inside my car and saw Chris has already made her friend sit in the car. I got in the car and driver started driving.

“Please let m.” I didn’t let her finish and grab her hair with my hand and said “ shut up, don’t make me more furious than I already am. Because trust me you won’t be able to handle it”. I said and she gulped in fear. I left her.

She didn’t said anything after that. Once we reached, I saw main door was closed from outside. When guard didn’t open the door my driver got down to open the door. I am gonna kill them for their behavior.

My driver came back but instead of getting in car he knocked on the window. I slide down the window glass and he told me immediately to come down. I got down by holding her arm tightly and get her out from the same side as well. My friends as well came out. I went inside but stopped in my track. Before me my two mens were lying unconscious, shot and bleeding Did someone really attacked. “ Holly s**t! What happened here? Are they dead” Mike asked.

“No they are alive just unconscious” Jasper said after checking them.

“Looks like someone attacked in our absence” Chris said while gritting his teeth.

“ let’s go in, John take them to hospital” I ordered my driver. Why didn’t they kill them I thought.

“ yes sir” he replied.

When we reached inside I saw my other two men lying near stairs in their own blood. “F**k” I cursed loudly. “They are alive as well” Mike said after checking them.

“ Who the hell did this”? Chris asked in anger.

“ Boss” I turned around to see my other two man who guard main door standing behind. They were shot on their legs as well and had some bruises on their face.

“Who did this?” I asked in my cold tone. They both looked down due to fear. “ Fu***ng answer me damn it” I yelled at them. They visibly shivered. One of them said “ this girls boss”.

I was shocked. Did this girls really took down my men. I turn towards Amber and asked “ is it true”? When she didn’t answer I held her jaw in my hands tightly and raised my brow. She nodded her head in confirmation. I couldn’t believe it but she confirmed it herself. I grabbed her hair and made my way towards living room. Once reached i left her and asked “Why?”.

She looked at me straight in the eye and yelled “ you asked why, because this is what any sane person will do. You can’t keep us here. It’s kidnapping.”

“ I warned you before don’t try to run away otherwise your friend will die, didn’t I?” I said holding her hair.

She looked towards her friend then at me and said “ you won’t”.

“And what makes you think like that” asked Chris holding Jane by her hairs. He was angry, everyone was I could see that.

“Because you need her to threaten me. If you didn’t need her, you wouldn’t have bring her here in the first place.” She said and added “ you want me to obey you so you won’t kill her, you want to take advantage of my friendship to get what you want”.

I smirked at her answer she is smart. I like that. Rather than the fear I am used to seeing in others eyes, she has hatred for me. She has a fire in her eyes which makes her more attractive even in this state.

I left her and sat on the sofa. Her eyes never living me for once.

“ You are right I won’t kill her” I said and smiled but “I can kill her brother and mother”. Yeah I have all the info about her friends as well.

All the colors from her face left by listening to me. I smirked and added “ but that will be next time you try to run away” she relaxed a bit. “ For this time, Tom put her friend in basement and don’t give her any water and food for three days.” I stopped to see her reaction there are fresh tears in her eyes. I continued “and make sure that Amber eats all her three meals and if she skipped even a single meal then increase Jane’s stay in basement by a day. The more meals she skipped , her stay will increase in basement of course while starving.”

Now tears were freely flowing out of her eyes. “Please don’t do this”. She begged.

“You didn’t thought there won’t be any consequences, did you?”

“Please don’t do this, it was my idea so just punish me but not her, please I won’t do this again, I won’t try to run away” she pleaded again.

“Tom take her” I ordered ignoring her pleas and got up from my place to go to my room. Something stopped me from taking another step I looked down and saw her on her knees. She was holding my leg stopping me from leaving. Tears were still coming out of her eyes. “Please jus.. just this one time i.. I won’t do any.. anything like this again. I won’t run. She’s scared of dark please put me instead but not her please” she was begging in front of me again.

I crouch down to her level and hold chin and made her look in my eyes.

“ not so brave anymore huh?” I said mockingly. “okay” I said she looked at me confused not believing my words. I stand up again and looked down at her then smirked. “Tom, her punishment will be the same but instead of basement take her to other room”. I said and left the living room.

After entering my room I took my clothes off and made my way towards bathroom. I turn on the shower and let cold water cool my mind.

This girl is really something. Ever since she is here she never once asked me to leave her. She always tries to protect her friend. She is definitely strong. It must be very difficult for her to get on her knees and beg me, her kidnaper. I knew it, it was her idea to escape. She planned it well. If I was not nearby they might have escaped. The thought of her escaping me doesn’t suit well with me.

I turned off the shower and wear my boxers. I made my way towards my bed and laid down on it. Soon I drifted off to sleep thinking about how she managed to take down my men.
