LEGENDARY LUNA
CHAPTER ONE. The room smelled of antiseptic and cedar. Deep groaning and heavy breathing; nurses and doctors running in a hurry; screams from room 305b; doctors and nurses coming in and out, their faces written with concern. "What is happening?" A very authoritative voice came through as the doctors and nurses rushed out. The doctor and nurses halted, their hands shivering, but they didn't dare stop. "I said, what is happening?" The man's voice came again. A doctor stepped towards him, his hands shivering in fear. "Sir Romano......everything..... is ....ok". Romano is six feet tall; he is dressed in a dark charcoal trench coat. His clothing was impeccably tailored. Paired with dark, polished boots and minimalistic, high-quality pieces that enhance his controlling presence. His hair is styled in a slick-back hairstyle. He is in his late 20's. Even though he is dressed in this way, his face is written with worry and anxiety. He clenched his fist tightly. At his side, an elderly man in his 60's is standing with a stern, piercing look in his eyes. Like he is waiting for a moment, waiting for what the doctor is about to say next. He turns his head slowly to Romano. "You know the pack rules, Romano." Romano nodded in fear; he knew what that meant. THE Claws PACK does not tolerate a chubby child; if any child is found chubby, the child will be killed. This is done to protect the sanctuary of the pack and the elite lineage of the pack. A scream was heard, loud and clear. Then silence. A doctor stepped out of the door. "What is happening, doctor?" Romano's voice came in. The doctor stepped forward. "Sir Romano..... your wife ...gave birth ..to twins, girls, I'm sorry to say this.... but the other didn't make it.....but ...your wife ...is fine." Romano and the elderly man stormed in. His gaze locked in on his wife. Her eyes communicated something to him. One baby was on his wife's chest. The other in the hands of the nurse. The tension in the room was heavy and suffocating. The nurses and doctors exchanged glances, their eyes communicating something with anxiety that hung heavily in the atmosphere. Then the elderly man stepped forward to the nurse holding the other child. He took the child, leaned down, and sniffed it; the child was dead. The child was plus-sized. He turned slowly to Romano, staring at him with a piercing look. Romano's eyes dropped. In the wife's eyes, you could sense fear. "Thank the moon she didn't make it." The elderly man said voice cracked. Every glance was directed at the dead child. Everyone in the room had heavy breath. Then the elderly man tried giving the dead child, but that was when it hit him. A scent. The scent of the legendary Luna who would destroy all werewolves. He paused for a while, his head running with thoughts. "She is dead," he whispered. Then he started laughing. He placed the dead infant in the hands of the nurse, who was already terrified. The nurse stepped backward, trying to leave. Then the dead child's fingers twitched. Everyone in the room froze, each eye glancing at the other. Then the elderly man moved towards the nurse again; his claws slid out. Giving the baby's foot a tiny scratch. A little drop of blood fell. For a minute, no scream; realizing the child was actually dead. He stepped back, satisfied Romano glanced at the nurse, communicating something. The terrified nurse ran out with the child instantly. At the door, a man dressed in a black hoodie, his face covered. He stood in front of the nurse and grabbed the child. The elderly man was still filled with absolute joy. His lips parted bursts into a devilish laugh. Suddenly, a sharp, piercing baby scream came out. Then the elderly man heard it; it wasn't the child lying on the mother's chest; it came from the door. Before the elderly man could open the door, the man with the hoodie turned on his heels and sprinted down among the nurses, doctors and patients roaming in the hospital corridor. The baby kept screaming. The elderly man immediately signaled the pack, who were outside waiting. The pack took off immediately, following the man with the hoodie. Heavy footsteps echoed in the hospital corridor. The doctor, nurses, and patient paved the way for the pack. Outside the hospital building, other packs were already there; immediately, they smelled the scent. The hoodie man, who was sprinting outside. found he was surrounded by different packs. Legend has it that anyone who drinks the blood of the legendary Luna will become powerful. The hoodie man was already fidgeting in panic as he realized the scale of this trap. But he didn't give up. He violently shoved the nearest wolves aside, sprinting away for his life. A gunshot shattered the air. A bullet hit the man in the hoodie on his chest. He let out a loud, agonizing scream. Yet, he didn't give up. He clutched the child tightly against his chest. Sprinting with all he had to the nearest Forest. Smelling the blood and scent. The packs howled and followed suit. THE FOREST. As the man ran in the forest, the branches of the trees tore his hoodie; the sharp pain from the bullet kept hitting him, but he couldn't stop yet, Until he found a safe place for the child, he mustn't stop. He kept running. Then he saw a small hidden hole. With trembling hands, he brought an injection and pierced it into the child's neck. The child stopped breathing. This could stop the child from breathing for 2 hours and also suppress the child's scent forever. Then he hurried and placed the child in the small hole, gathering leaf patches to cover the child. When the child was fully covered, you wouldn't know something was there. The hoodie man stood up, walking towards the packs with his claws sliding out. "Where is the child?" A massive wolf pack growled. He didn't hesitate. He sprinted towards the packs, brutally tearing each one apart. fur blood collided. Then suddenly, a sharp hidden claw pierced into his stomach. He let out a scream so loud that it almost tore the forest. He crashed, lifeless, on the forest floor. The packs wasted no time, swarmed into the area, tearing the bushes, digging frantically into the earth. But couldn't find the child. Frustrated and empty-handed, the packs finally gave up. Their footsteps faded. After they left. A woman who had hidden in the bushes; she had come to the forest for hiking and had witnessed everything that happened, She came to pray to the moon. She swung out from where she was hidden, walking towards where the child was buried, in a hurry, digging up the child. The woman picked up the child and clutched it gently on her chest. " You are safe, child." The woman whispered. A heavy howl and footstep ripped through the forest. The woman knew it wasn't safe; she dug her heels into the soil. Sprinting away, the child clung to her chest. The howl was creeping closer from the distance.
