Chapter 16

--Isaac--

I get a chair and sit a meter away from the Casper, he was now asleep wearing no clothes as instructed, his blood from was dripping from his head maybe due to the vase Anika smash on him, and I’m proud of what she’s done amidst the fact the she was drugged and aphrodisiac was put in her room, he looks pale already due to the gunshot on his foot. The guys are standing around, and I want them to watch how I make Casper’s life like hell on earth. I look at Earl and nod that gives him the signal to splash water to wake up Casper. Casper startled when the water bumps into her face.

“Are you ready to meet Satan?” I asked and stand to get my newly sharpened combat knife. He just smirks and looks at me like his not regretting anything his done to Anika.

“You don’t deserve her, I’m the one who found her. I watch her for almost a month. I was with her when you were busy doing your mafia things” He said smiling at me. I slightly stab the knife onto his shot bleeding foot that makes him scream.

“f**k you” His scream is music in my ear.

“Who do you think you are to lay a hand on my girl?” I said now stabbing deeper the knife into his foot and leaving it there.

“You don’t deserve her, you're full of s**t” He said almost an utter, his now losing his strength due to the excessive blood that was lose in his body. I get the baseball bat and hit him hard into his body.

“Whoever deserves her, is not for you to say” I said and then walk into a one gallon of gasoline and splash it all over his body.

‘You don’t know the real Anika Scott, she’s more than what you think” He said glazing at me, a smirk rest in his face like telling me he knew Anika more than me. 

“You know you’re a sick bastard, you think you can steal my girl and make her yours? That is ridiculous” I said and let a loud laugh, I take out the lighter from my suit.

“What are you going to do?”He asked looking so terrified, that facial expression gives me joy, and his body was shaking, he looks so fearful but that doesn’t give me satisfaction.

“I told you, you will experience hell on this place” I said opening the metal lighter.

I throw the lighter on the floor and his body suddenly fired up due to the gasoline. He screams while being burned by the fire, Now that gives me the satisfaction, looking at him frightened, so hopeless and being burned.

“Now watch how this man dies, this will happen also to anyone of you if you dare touch my girl.” I said yelling and looking at everyone while Casper is being burned.

“Earl and buck, you know what to do with s**t” I said and then left them on the dark room.

The dark room was soundproof so whatever happens inside no one can hear it even in the library. Jake followed me on the library.

“That is the last thing Anika should see you. You can use my room, I will call Albert to follow you at my room and throw that bloody clothes. I will stay here to make sure no mess around” Jake referring to the blood stains on my clothes.

I left Jake in the Library and walks into Jake’s room. Albert is already following me when he saw me at the first floor, Jake might have instructed him already.

“How is she?” I asked Albert as we enter Jake’s room.

“Still unconscious, Mr. Tan is inside the room doing his things.” Albert said and closed the door.

Instead of answering him, I walk inside the bathroom and take off my clothes and dump it in into the hamper. Albert knocks and enters the room to get my nasty clothes, he already knows what to do. In times like this, he usually burned clothes at the back of this mansion. 

I took a quick bath, a new suit is already on the bed, I took and wear it immediately, and as soon as I’m done I rush into my room to check Anika. When I enter my room, Anika was till unconscious injected with dextrose. She looks like an injured angel.

“I’m sorry my love” I said and kissed her on head.

I sit on the couch facing Anika, she is still beautiful amidst her situation right now. I have to do something when she wakes up to remove the memory on her mind. My thoughts suddenly drift away when someone knocks the door.

“Who’s there?” I asked still sitting on the couch

“Boss, Mr. Tan wants to come in” One of the guards said who was still standing outside my room.

“Let him in” Mr. Tan enters the room and bow first before he started talking.

“Mr. Isaac, what was injected to her was strong enough to make her sleep for not less than 2 days. Just let her eat fruits and vegetables when she wakes up and lessen the stress. I will not give her prescriptions for the meantime,just call me when she feels anything when she wakes up. I bet you won’t need me anymore because this woman is great doctor.” He said that makes me look at him confused. Then I remember, Anika was a famous young American doctor, so Mr. Tan will probably know her, I suddenly felt proud.

“Less stress” I said while rubbing my temple. I have to think of something that will make her forget what happened today. I have to, she’s my responsibility and it kills me knowing this happened inside my house. If she wakes up being in here I’m sure she will recall all the memories. I have to take her to somewhere else.

“I will go for now Mr. Isaac” Mr. Tan said as he spin around and walks outside when I suddenly said asked.

“Can I travel her?” I said looking at him expecting a yes answer.

“Yes, but we have to empty the dextrose first” He said pointing at it.

“Okay, provide a female nurse and doctor to remove that once empty.” I said emphasizing the word female. 

“As you wish Mr. Isaac” Mr. Tan said then left the room.

I take out my phone and dialled Jake’s phone number.

“Prepare a plain, we will travel tonight”

“Okay” Jake said confusion can be heard in his tone.

I hope this idea will work, I have to make it work.
