I’ve been busy lately because of the expanding mafia business, my legal businesses was also going well. I’m so inspired because Anika’s presence always gives me something to look forward too.  I never had this urge to do more, not before she came into my life. Her smiles gives me strength, her laughs are my music, her wanting to know everything makes me love her deeper because she always wanted to grow, Anika gives me completeness, she color my devoid life, she’s full of life even though she lives in a family where nobody makes her feel loved, that’s why when I brought her home I always wanted to make her happy, and never regret this new chapter in our lives. I knew she knows i'm a mafia leader, her wittiness gives her suspicion on what business I’m running but I don’t want her to be involved in this world. This is the world I never wanted to share with her, she doesn’t belong here, she’s not fragile and can take care of herself but I don’t want her innocence get involved in this nasty world.

Tonight I’m trying to make it up to her for always leaving her in the house by a movie date. I already told her to prepare and I told Albert to prepare some burgers and fries for us and the guys. The guys told me that they will be in the cave man room. I was preparing when someone knock my door, maybe that is Jake trying to remind me again the important meeting tomorrow, I just wrapped the towel on my waits, I opened the door revealing the most beautiful person wearing a bathrobe.

I saw here gulp looking at my body which gives me opportunity to tease her again.

“You better talk now, before I grab you inside this room and remove that tiny thing covering your body” I said then I see him narrowing his eyes to me that makes me chuckle again, I really like that facial expression.

“I need something” She said now looking down his feet.

“What?” I said in irritation, why just she can’t continue talking.

“Do you remember you told me just this afternoon, if I need anything, I’ll tell you immediately and you’ll going to be help me” She said now playing with her fingers which I find cute.

“Finish your sentence Anika” I said in a loud voice, she’s getting into my nerves.

“I’m on my period” She said also in a loud voice, fighting the shyness I sense into her body.

“Period? What period? –“ I stop when I realize what she’s trying to tell me. Now I understand why she’s being so unexplainable today.

“What do you need?” I ask her in a calm tone now.

“I need pads” She said hiding her hands into her back.

“Wait in your room, I will call Amelia to buy some” I said and a smile now shows in her face, the smile I'm getting used to.

“Thank you” She said and the spin and walks her way into her bedroom.

I just rub my temple, girl’s are sometimes annoying when they’re on their girl’s thing. I said to myself and started preparing for the movie night I prepared for Anika. I always prepared our dates within the house to avoid her getting out, to refrain my enemies from giving them hints on what is my weakness. I know once they knew this woman, they will try everything to get her from me, knowing most of the US Mafia leaders have an eye on her. My business is getting bigger and so my enemies for sure. To keep her in the house is to keep safe.

I’m done preparing and I’m on my way into Anika’s room. I knock three times she opens the door, revealing her in a green adidas of sexy shorts and hanging crop top paired with black and silver adidas slip on. She’s glowing without even make up, and her smile is the most beautiful accessory she wore.

“Let’s go?” I said in looking at her angelic face.

“Okay” She replied happily, I closed the door when she stepped out.

I hold her hands on our way to the theatro, I first checked the boys on the caveman since it’s on our way. I saw them scattered and playing anywhere in the room while Casper was on the training room, which is very unusual. I will deal with that next time, for now I have to focus on the person walking with me while I hold her hands in mine looking so beautiful.

I open the door for her as we enter the room, Albert was inside preparing the popcorn machine and soda. We seated at the front double bed.

“What are we going to watch?” Anika said who was already lying on the double bed.

“Your choice, love” I said while walking into the bar getting the fries and burgers.

Anika reached for the remote and started pressing it, of course she chose a romance movie.

“You don’t need to wait for us or the guys in the other room to finish, you can have your rest now” I said while putting the fries and burgers in one plate

“Thank you Mr. Isaac” Albert said and left us. He turned off the lights before walking out of the door.

As I seat beside her, I pull her close to me which makes her lean not on the bed anymore but to me.

“What is the story of that movie? Is the lead actor going to kill all the man trying to take her girl?” I asked that makes her roll her eyes looking at the big screen.

The movie started already, I don’t like watching these kinds of lame movies because I’m not fan of it, but what else can I do? It’s my girl who chose it. I stared at Anika’s face while she focused her eyes on the big screen, her copper long hair that falls right above her butt was like her crown, her glass glowing skin face that was highlighted by the color of her hair, her deep blue eyes like the ocean that if you dive in you can never get up, her lips shaped like a bow that I always wanted to kiss, she might noticed that I’m staring at her so she looked at me confuse.

“What?” She asks while putting fries in her mouth.

“You are much more than a precious gem” I said and kissed her cheeks. I see doubts filled her eyes, I cannot blame her, I took her into my life by force but I promised myself I will not make her regret being with me. She comes closer and lean on my chest. I cover us with blanket and tangled my hands around her waist.

I almost nap watching this movie when I felt my chest wet and heard sobs, I immediately check at Anika who was still leaning at me. I look at her and she’s crying..

“Why the hell are you crying? I said looking at her with dripping tears.

“The girl died on the movie” She said in every sobs

“What the f**k is wrong with that movie?” I said in irritation, I lay down again and try to watch the movie. It was actually not that bad, I can’t compare since this is the first romance movie I have watched. I tried to move but Anika is still leaning on my chest.

“Anika?” I said rubbing her shoulders but I receive no response.

I bend a little and sneak on her and I saw her calm face sleeping deeply, instead of waking her up, I grab my phone and take a photo of her. I cupped her on my arms and carried her into her bedrooms. I gently lie her down the bed to avoid interrupting her deep sleep. I removed her slip on and cover her with the comforter. I stayed there for more than an hour just watching her sleeping. I can do this all night. I stared at her like memorizing every corner of her face, her angelic face that I will never get tired of staring at, her lips I can’t wait to taste. Her long fingernails like a candle, I can’t wait to see our wedding ring embracing her ring finger.

“I can’t afford to lose you” Even though I know she can’t hear me, I whisper it in her ears and peek her a kiss on her cheeks and stand on her bed before I can’t help myself and sleep beside her. I turned off the lights and turn on the lamp shade. I stop on the door to make sure she’s all well before I walk outside towards my room.
