The Plane Accident
Every time she opens her eyes, Berona will find views of her luxurious bedroom or neat workplace. Every time she opens her eyes, Berona will feel a soft bed, a warm blanket, or piles of proposals to be signed. It should be like that. However, this time, when she opened her eyes, Berona saw an unfamiliar gray iron plate. His neck and whole body felt stiff, even his legs were numb from being bent for so long in this narrow metal space. "What happened?" The woman muttered, looking at the microphone and the oddly attached button. Impressed like being in a spaceship. “Ah, right. The plane I was on had an accident. It's a good thing I'm a VVIP member, so I got this vault.” Berona massaged her head and took the microphone. “Its Berona, its Berona. I survived the plane crash, can you pick me up or send me a savior?” No answer. "Its Berona. Hello? Can you hear me?” The woman tried again, but it sounded like nothing was working. Berona tried pressing any button that might help, but nothing changed. Until he found the red button. When squeezed, the door of the vault opened, revealing a view of large trees and the setting sun. Apparently, that special vault was stranded in a quiet forest on the sea side. Just as Berona made it out limping, she met a well-dressed young man. So neat that it seemed to contrast with the wilderness situation. However, Berona soon found a good reason for the awkwardness. “Ah, you must be looking for me.” Berona greets cheerfully. "Could you tell the rescuers that I was here?" Instead of answering, the handsome white man frowned. "Rescuer?" Berona nodded innocently. His face looked dirty with messy hair. “Aren't you the savior sent to look for me? To think they would send a savior as handsome as you.” The man's brow furrowed deeper. "It's just me and you in this forest." He looked up and saw an iron capsule smashed into the ground. "Impossible!" She replied panicked. “They should have already mobilized a dozen troops to look for me!” The man just rolled his eyes and got ready to leave when suddenly Berona held his hand. "Wait a minute!" She exclaimed. "At least, can you show me the way to New York?" "New York? You mean, the big city of the United States?” "Yes! Right! I doubt anyone would know about it in a forest like this, but thankfully, it looks like you've been there before.” Berona breathed a sigh of relief. However, the handsome man accidentally pointed towards the sea. Berona frowned. “Are you playing with me? Even the blind boy knows that's the sea," She protested. "Ah, maybe you really don't know what New York is, do you?" The man in white pale skin shook his head and pointed back to the sea. “New York is over there. Across the sea." Berona widened her eyes and her lips opened in surprise. "New York, you mean, New York—wait, where am I now?" The man's expression and tone remained dead-pan as he replied, "Northern Wyvernland." Berona felt her irises sink before she fainted.
