When Did it Start to Feel This Way?
Sadie sat on her bed. She was looking at a photo that stood calmly on her nightstand. In the photo was a smiling couple. They looked straight to the camera and smiled so wide their teeth were showing. And God, they look in love. A tear drops down her chin. "That was a good day, one of the best", she thought and looked away. It was so painful. She cried a little bit and then turned up. She gave one last look to that room and shut the door behind her.
Everything in that apartment was remembering her from the life she has. And the life she is now leaving. Anthony stood in the lobby when Sadie came there. They looked at each other and cried. " Are you sure you need to do this?" Anthony asked silently. Sadie nodded and hugged him. "Yes, you know it. We will meet again when..." Anthony stopped her. "I know"

The cab was already waiting for Sadie when she walked to the yard. A widely smiling man gets up from the car and comes to her. He said his name is Bini, and he is her driver today. Then he took Sadies bags and walked towards the cab.
Sadie followed him. The cab was nice and warm, she couldn't help but notice that after the cold weather outside. They drove a while before the driver, Bini, broke the silence. "Was it to the airport, madame?" He asked as politely he could. "Yes, please," Sadie answered shortly. Then the silence continued. Sadie was more than happy about it, she was not in the mood to talk to anyone.
The airport was full of people. Everywhere were someone standing, sitting, or doing God knows what. Sadie check her flight from the info desk and after getting the info she needed she turned her way to a bar. Bars at the airport were very expensive, but she let that go this time. In the back of the waiting hall, right next to the gates, was a nice little pub. There were not too many people either. Sadie ordered a beer, picked a place, and sat down to watch people in the airport. She loved to watch people, think of their stories and what they may think. At first, her eyes catch a woman in the middle of the bar. The woman is tall, brunette, and very beautiful. She has a white knee-long dress and sandals with the same tone. Sadie tried to think about what could her name be. And what was she doing here, where was she going? So many interesting questions. In another corner sat a man alone. He seemed to be alone and maybe a bit sad too, Sadie noticed. The man was a little over his forties and had a very nice style. Sadie imagined him to be a German businessman, who was here on a business trip. She sips her beer again. It was slightly warm but she could drink that anyway. While sitting alone her thoughts began to wander. She thought of Anthony, her job, mom, everyone. And the only thing she was wondering was when did it start to feel like this.
