Alpha Doyle I watched Lena disappear into the bathroom, dragging her suitcase behind her. She didn’t look at me. Not once. The door clicked shut, and I stood there staring at it for several seconds. I could still see the fear in her eyes. I hated it. I hated knowing that she was afraid of me. More than that, I hated knowing that I understood why. After everything she’d told me beside the lake, how could I expect her to trust an Alpha? Especially when I’d once intended to kill her simply because she was a rogue.
