We ventured out of the room and found the house more lively than before. The coming dawn hadn’t dampened the festive mood of the newly arrived family and some of them were in the foyer admiring Grau’s collection.
Maximilian was among them and at sighting us he hurried over. “Excuse me for wondering, but I forgot to ask how long you two have been Key and Clasp, and which is which?”
