“The reason. For everything. It’s Galveston. This is his invasion and his fight, nobody else’s. The Wasp Queen is a figurehead and a dying one at that. He wished to impress her and that’s all.” My eyes danced as I performed a graceful pirouette. “His drone father is a fop and his mother ailing. There’s no grand and clever plan. I believe the queen once hated Sonora enough to kill Limah’s father and destroy the shifting bee queens, but she’s weak now. The real enemy is Galveston and him alone.”
