“And you do it so well,” Tom said. “I’m pretty sure Noah’s going to be okay with this, and not just because he has both of us to rely on. It’s Bobby I’m worried about. His grandparents will support him 100 percent, but I’m not sure his mother is up to the task.”
“I know,” John said, and sighed. “They explained the situation pretty completely. Hopefully their mother will come around in time. Bobby did tell me that he was going to be taking a confirmation class at Holy Trinity, so I think he won’t have any problem talking to Steven Sandifer.”
“Good,” Tom said. “Thanks again, and we’ll see you in church tomorrow.”
