It had been a week since he asked that question and was left unanswered. Jilly was still in the hospital and she would be for another week before she could go home. The doctor needed to make sure her condition was stabilized before releasing her from the hospital. In the meantime, the doctor recommended a therapist for her to start the treatment for her muscles and it would start this week. She could save everyone the energy if she could improve throughout the treatment in the hospital.
“Where have you been?” Jilly asked her incoming guest.
“I went back home for a while and visited our daughter. She’s asleep now,” Cayne replied as he walked closer to the bed. He sat on the edge and caressed the side of her face lovingly. He had a huge hope that Jilly would want to see their daughter soon
