(CHARLIE’S POV)
“I told you it’s Charlie!” I called after her.
She did not turn back and I watched as she watched away. It took a second for me to realize that I had a smirk on my face. Shaking my head and taking a deep breath, I moved closer to the principal’s office and knocked on the door.
“Come on in.” I heard the man call from inside and so I pushed the door open and let myself in. But I did not go further in, I lingered at the door side. The principal had his head bent over some papers and then he raised his head. His eyebrows quirked and his eyes widened a little as he saw that it was me.
