After breakfast, we headed out back. There's a huge maze of shrubs out there just beyond the garden which I’ve never successfully navigated, so I started to go around it. “Ohhhh, a maze. I wanna go through.” Jessie said with excitement twinkling in her eyes. “Baby, we don’t have the time to get lost in there. Maybe when this is all over with.”
We moved on and she got a little pouty as she said, “What makes you think we’d get lost?” I chuckled as I said, “It’s a maze, baby. Everyone gets lost in there.” Kraig laughed and nodded but she just stopped walking and gave me a puzzled look. “How big is the maze?” “I donno, about a quarter of an acre. Why?” I asked with confusion as she smirked at me.
