I had no idea what they were all going on about where April was concerned. Sports were never really my thing, so all this talk about Mixed Martial Arts fighting was just a bore-fest to me.
“As glad as I am y’all have made a new friend n’ all, I think we’re wasting valuable time just standing around. They likely know that we’re gone by now, for sure.” I said, and everyone sobered a bit. Unable to find it in me to trust Rachel even a little, I continued on to say, “And I think Rachel has served her purpose at this point. I’d like for her to be escorted back to her room, please.”
