Ten years later….
(Jessie’s POV)
I woke up with a smile feeling absolutely content. I still sometimes can’t believe this is my life now. Well… our lives.
I looked over at the gorgeous man sleeping next to me and my smile grew. Today’s the day of our coronation. We still don’t feel like we’re ready for this, but Dylan has full confidence in us and he’s assured us he'll be right by our side to help in any way he possibly can.
I think handing over the reins is a bit bittersweet for him, though.
My parents will be in attendance, of course. They couldn’t be any more proud of the two of us. Dad has come to absolutely adore Mason and Mom dotes on him and Kraig like they were her actual children.
