(Mason’s POV) The next day, I was in the new conference room where we were setting up a new command center for Joey and Nick. Joey was like a kid in a candy shop having all this space and new equipment. Jessie was there but she’d been really quiet all morning. I know she felt a bit self-conscious about what happened last night. But no one thought any less of her because of it.
