Doctor, how is my mother?’ Mabel asked as she entered the doctor’s office.
‘Have your seat, madam’ was the doctor’s reply. She took a few steps forward and sat in front of the doctor.
‘How is my mother?’ she asked again.
‘Ehn... your mother is alright’
‘Doctor, are you sure?’ Mabel asked skeptically
‘I think I would rather speak to your brother,’ the doctor said after some moments' hesitation.
‘Well, my brother is not in the country at the moment,’ she was getting annoyed.
‘Well then, isn’t there any other person I could talk to? Say - a man?’ he hesitated.
‘I’m sorry there isn’t. Will you please tell me what is wrong with my mum?’ Mabel sprang to her feet
