CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
Mabel, Silvia and Jessica were sitting on a table at the hospital cafe. The cafe was on the fifth floor overlooking the road, the street and the beautiful buildings that lined it. The view here was complete. One could get a single view of the entire street at the same time. It was so serene and beautiful. A pleasant surprise in the hospital premises and devoid of all the pain and agony just beneath it. There were a few people out here, all of them sullen. Sitting and waiting. For some good news from the doctors and nurses. And for some turn of events that would return their smiles.
