Chapter 1
CHAPTER ONE
I wake up from a buzzing noise at my bed side. Finally today was my eighteenth birthday and my parents were holding me a very huge party I'm Alexia and I am the only child of my parents who live in America “Alexia are you up remember you need to get ready” My mom said as she opened my bedroom door.
In our family it was always a tradition that once eighteen you get to leave the room close to the nursery and move to a bigger room and since I was an only child a was given one of the best rooms on the third floor.“Mom what am I exactly getting ready for" I ask my mom in pretence."Don't play that game with me young lady get dressed so we can pack your stuff and go shopping ” My mom answers fully aware.
I get in my bathroom and do my usual morning routine when done I chose some black jeans and white T-shirt to pair with my converse.
After some parking me and my mom go shopping just along with some bodyguards which is new because it's always just one.“I'm sure you're wondering why we have an extra bodyguard tody instead of just Tony(My personal bodyguard) “Yeah mom was about to ask you the same question”“Well tonight me and your dad have some big news to tell you"she says as we enter a Dior shop at the mall which is mainly filled with Dior products. Since it's my b-day I'm allowed to shop till the sky is my limit so I get some new shirts, sneakers and jackets.
We head home to grab lunch when we run into dad,run into meaning he is rarely home.“Hey dad why so early”I say reaching out for the pasta.“Well since its your big day I decided to get a day off"He replies “OK Dad ”I reply. When done with lunch I and mom go upstairs and get ready for the party at 6pm.I'm wearing a sleeveless long blue and white gown with white flowers at the side and white lace at the bottom paired with some white heels and a white purse.The party takes place in our yard where the maids decorated it with white and blue designs with a big banner at the center saying ‘HAPPY B-DAY LEXI' with many tables and chairs I'm so happy and can't wait to congratulate them after this. I can see many of my friends,cousins,family friends and my parents business partners and most importantly my BFF Sapphire who was wearing a purple gown with silver heels and a purse .After all the dances and my speech which was thanking everyone present i cut the cake “Happy birthday Alexia" everyone says says as I cut the cake. After the father daughter dance and sharing of the cake with everyone other games,the party is finally over and I can't wait to see my parents gift to me and the news they were talking about. After some final packing in my old room I hear a knock at the door “Come in” I say but to my surprise I see mom and dad Dad has a red box in his hand. “Happy birthday Alex” My dad says as he hand me the box. I think it might be a locket,a set of jewelry or something like that but to my utter surprise it's nothing like that. “Whats this?!?!” I exclaime in surprise.
