Chapter Fifteen I walked as calmly as I could to my vehicle, collected my luggage, tossed it in the passenger seat, jumped into the driver’s seat, casually putting it in gear as I pulled away. I even managed to conjure a toothy grin as I offered Edwards’ minion a finger wave when I passed his hulking frame. He did not reciprocate. I exited the parking lot, drove several blocks while looking in my rear-view mirror before pulling onto a side street and into a public parking lot.
