TWENTY-THREE
My heart keeps beating, tears stream down mh eyes untill they finally step out of the car, and then I feel like a major fool for crying.
Its Maya, he came with Maya. He knocks on my window and I roll it down. Wiping my tears in the process.
He looks at me with a look that screams pity. I dont want that.
"which tire?" he asks.
I shrug my shoulders, he looks at me and bends his head in a sigh.
"okay, I'll take a look at it"
He takes his jacket on and hands it to Maya. Who looks at me and smiles. I try my hardest to smile back at her.
"can you open the boot for me" he says from the back of the car.
I open step out and open it using the key.
"thanks" he says, looking at me for a little while longer, I break eye contact and stand besides Maya.
