The smell of cardamom, cinnamon, and turmeric wafted through the air, mingling with the sweet fragrance of frangipani flowers. A group of Indian musicians were playing a lively tune on their instruments, and the sound of sitar and tabla filled the air. A monkey chattered in the distance, and a bird squawked in response. She made her way through customs and immigration, her heart racing with excitement. As she collected her luggage, she was greeted by a young Indian man holding a sign with her name on it. "Destiny Madu?" he asked, smiling. "Yes, that's me," Destiny replied, smiling back. "I'm Rohan, your driver. I'll be taking you to your accommodation," Rohan said, taking her luggage. Destiny jumped out of the car and tried some delicious bhel puri, a popular Indian snack made with puffed rice, onions, and chutney. The flavors exploded in her mouth, and she closed her eyes in delight. "Wow, this is amazing!" she exclaimed. Rohan laughed. "I'm glad you like it. Indian food is a treat for the senses." Destiny nodded, taking another bite. The bhel puri was spicy and savory, with a hint of cumin and coriander. They passed by the beautiful Haji Ali Dargah, a mosque perched on a small island in the Arabian Sea. After a while, they arrived at her accommodation, a cozy apartment in the quiet neighborhood of Andheri. Rohan helped her with her luggage and showed her around the apartment.
