I had hoped this wasn't the case but it seems like Faudian was in the end right about all of it. It wasn't Speyer that was quite bad even though he did betray the Terragons but it wasn't the people underneath the castle whose details are still vague.
What I saw here did not make much sense but it was this after all. A clawed beast with gnarly teeth, taller than twice my height. It seemed similar to my strength and it was majestic. It was hairy and had great ears but it did not seem very friendly.
What is this about keeping all of these things a mystery? "A beast that terrorized the people of Glendin after encountering the castle of Speyer... " That's what the statue had on its pillar. Quite confusing, it was impossible the man had spoken to the village after going in there. When he came out he seemed to turn out fine and even be a warrior. What was all this about? Except... of course. Would have been better if Faudian had been here and from the look of this derived all sorts of ideas and theories and eventually some are right. I had known what to do for now.
-----
A frightening turn had taken place as this vengeful beast was about to strike a whole family and nothing could be done and nothing was. He brings the claw down upon them and as soon as it almost tears their skin,"I--I am sorry ...this was not supposed to happen." A tiny moment of control as it showed effort from his mind he wasn't that beasts for a while but its still daunting now to know that he might have really killed those people.
The ground shatters suddenly and as he was the beast again he tries to engage himself onto the family but as they all freefell into the ground, it almost seemed like he did try to save them. He didn't know what happened to the kids and the woman but he was pulled quicker than them to the pit underneath, falling more and more until he fainted mid air.
It was all blank for a while and then a little bit of light fell on his eyes and the man was dragged by something outside as they seemed to have pulled his leg towards someone. The light dimmed hinting at someone's shadow falling on him, the sound of footprints waking him up and slowly letting his eyes open for a moment when he saw the person he wanted to put down so badly standing upright with tears and rage with a sword and holding his head. He trembled and spoke, "Why...why did you have to take them ...you could have just taken me you beast. Look at what you did." He said as he pulled him towards the right and there he saw three people on the floor covered in blood. He was speechless and his heart almost got crushed by his own guilt. I felt all of it, this wasn't him and it can never be.
"I take the blame, I'm sorry Speyer, your men lead me to you, I thought they were guarding you in the tower. Trust me, I would never kill them.."
Speyer himself wasn't a very good old man, "Hidger Romulus, you will not be remembered as the savior of this lost city, neither will you be awarded by it. I will make sure everyone learns the truth about what you did and you will be named as a savage, a criminal, a monster that took down everything that existed in this castle..."
He sighed and teared up but he knew something was off just like me. He didn't find think he did it still as there were no marks of his claws on them and the building was only torn apart because of something else. He knew that Speyer was using this opportunity to become a greater man in front of whomever that standing amongst us,"You lie, you know this wasn't--"' He noticed the bloody red Effigy in his hand and held his eyes tightly close and then looking at him with rage, "Where are the people of this city... "
He asked looking into his eyes and enraged by what he actually did and blaming it on him, he understands that it was Speyer trying to play a bigger game and frame everything on him.
"You dare ask me you filthy beast. "
He had soon turned into the beast at command as though they worked together suddenly and he started to attack him pushing him down on the floor and the guards were shocked by it and couldn't respond back seeing the big beast pouncing like anything.
"You will not get out of here Alive on second thought... "
He suddenly hit him with the effigy pushing him away as the strike pierced his skin and took off some wolf hair.
His blood fell or for some reason I felt the uneasy feeling as well. I was feeling his faint, quite dizzy and falling down barely seeing anything. Trembling voice the beast of the man spoke, "You had infected me... "
He smiled and giggled, "Yes... just like I will infect all your friends and blame that on the bloodteeth. "
This would mean he was on the plan of doing this and this was all lead by...
"The Terragons... this was all your plan all along... I should have known. "
All had gone away that I held within me hope and now filled with fear and uncertainty... what was this all about?
