Sera wake up. Seraphina WAKE UP we are going to be late again if you don’t hurry up and get ready. Lilly said in a very annoyed tone Damn Lill I heard you the first time you didn’t have to yell seraphina said The only reason you even got away with yelling at me is because you are my best friend so you better thank your lucky stars Lilly looked at her and laughed they both laughed. you did not hear me. If you had you would have gotten out of bed. Lilly said while trying to calm herself down from the laughing fit they just had. I just wanted five more minutes sera said. I’m exhausted. I don’t see how you aren’t. I have my ways and plus we are stopping to get coffee on the way to school so hurry up and get dressed so we aren’t super late Lilly said. Fine I’m going to get dressed I’ll meet you at the car in 3 sera said with a pouty face. As Lilly was walking out of her huge bedroom she stopped at the door and yelled toward the bathroom at Seraphina. Don’t forget my brother is taking us to school today. CRAP I don’t have time to do my hair or make up sera said in panic. Seraphina has had a crush on onyx for 2 years now despite him being 3 years older than her she thought he was the best looking guy in the pack with his broad shoulders red hair and muscles even the tattoos he had. Onyx is the betas son and he will soon be my brothers beta oh and I forgot to mention he is my brothers best friend too making onyx completely off limits to Seraphina. She whimpered at that thought as she grabbed her backpack and shoved everything she would need in there for the day and ran downstairs and out the front door. Onyx looked at Alastair and they both laughed. Late again I see onyx said as he got into the drivers seat. So what Lilly said. We had to study for our finals last night which means you get to do the honors of buying us coffee this morning Lilly said with a toothy grin. Fine but it’s almost the end of the year y’all have been late more times than I can even count on my fingers and toes onyx said while looking at them in the rear view mirror. Well it’s not our fault they throw all the good parties on the weeknights Seraphina said with a pouty tone. Speaking of the end of the school year happy early birthday sera, onyx said with his dazzling smile. I almost melted into the back seat. Thank you sera said to onyx while she was turning a hundred different shades of red. Lilly looked at her and laughed and nudged sera. What Lill sera said. Do you have a thing for my brother because if so that is absolutely disgusting and I do not condone it Lilly said with a strait face. Only because she knew her brother was a man w***e who hadn’t found his mate yet because he is to busy taking girls on dates and getting the in his bed. But that was not something that Seraphina didn’t already know. You see Seraphina hasn’t found her mate yet because her 18th birthday wasn’t until tomorrow and she wouldn’t shift until then so she wouldn’t know who her mate was yet even if the were looking her dead in the face. But deep down she hoped it would be onyx. Once they arrived at school they both practically jumped out and ran up the front steps both of them brushing off the fact that onyx didn’t stop to get coffee because they were 30 minutes late for first period. They would still pout about it this afternoon but right now they had to get to class before the exams started. Both girls went their separate ways Seraphina you are late again Mr. B said in a disappointing tone. Sorry Mr. B sera said as she sat down in her seat. She was relieved to see that nobody has started their exam yet. Ok class we are about to begin the exam once you are finished come put it on my desk and sit back down until the bell rings. Sera opened her test and started reading through it and started answering the questions that she knew and then she would go back and answer the ones she was unsure of. An hour and a half went by and the bell rang she only had 5 more questions but she knew she would just have to guess something before everyone cleared out of the classroom or she might fail it so she circles some answers and took it to Mr. B and walked out of the class to find Lilly waiting on her like she did every day. So how was your test sera Lilly said It was good I had to guess on a couple so hopefully I passed Same sighed Lilly. My dads gonna kill me if I fail any of my tests. As the day went on Seraphina finished all of her exams and met Lilly out front so they could wait on their ride but was shocked to find that onyx was there to pick them up also. As she walked to the car her heart skipped a beat and she went to climb in the car but onyx stopped her and just stared at her like he was going to say something. Then a cheery voice was heard from behind and he quickly moved and opened the door. Both girls slid in and he closed the door behind them and reached in the front seat and grabbed something. It was their coffees and Lilly shrieked in excitement. Sera slowly sipped hers just in case it was hot and sighed in relief. Finally some caffeine Lilly groaned. Sera looked toward onyx and suddenly realized he got her the exact coffee she drinks without even asking her. He had been with her and her brother many times when the girls went to go get coffee but she never thought he payed any attention. She just gave him a puzzled look and went to looking out the window with a million things running through her mind. They finally pulled into the big gated driveway and in the garage Lilly hopped out and ran inside leaving sera and onyx alone. She couldn’t quite get enough air as she stepped out of the car once she did and onyx s**t the door he pinned her on the door of the car. She looked at him in a confused way even though it’s exactly what she wanted. He looked at her and couldn’t tell the effect he had on her already even though she wasn’t his mate. Seraphina had always intrigued onyx and he wanted to see just how far he could push her until she broke with out her brother or my nosy sister finding out. Then I would never hear the end of it. Sera looked up at him and whimpered showing him that was he was doing was working he loosened his grip on her and walked inside with out saying a word but he didn’t have to she knew exactly what game he was playing. Seraphina walk inside and went strait to her room ignoring the dinner calls. She started a bath and relaxed before getting out and curling up in bed to fall into a deep sleep. She knew she needed it because tomorrow was her big day. The day she meets her wolf.
