A Mother's Love

- Still One Day Earlier-  Gola at the sound of her daughter, felt her tension ease for a split second. She relaxed from a defensive position, her ears slightly tilted downwards and her snarl disappeared. Remembering the stranger in front of her, suddenly made her go back to being alert and cautious. She knew about her daughter? She didn't mention her name, so she might be making it up... Gola had her and Marian's thoughts running wild.  Marzia sensing the sensitive subject, decided to prove herself to the Luna, "Her name is Amber, I was hired to read her mind." She began to get nervous watching Gola's expression change. "They took her in to the pack, she must have a bind on her memories because she didn't even remember you, or her life before the pack-" Marian began to come to the surface of Gola, her tears prickling the back of her eyes. Amber was still alive. Marian began to shift into her human form, careful to watch the Witch as she did so. "Wha- how?" Marian was so confused and shocked over the details of her daughter, her brain felt like mush.  Marzia began to relay everything she knew about Amber and her situation, only realizing how strong of a memory bind she must have on her. Too strong for Marzia to crack. "I don't know what they are going to do with her now. They don't know she is your child. I was able to get into some memories and I recognized these pack lines. I was hoping to find someone here to tell you." Marzia gestured to the forest around her.  Marian began to shake her head in disbelief. Her daughter was alive and well. The news made her sick to her stomach. Amber was in another pack, no doubt scared and confused. She felt herself get excited, thinking of ways to get Amber back.  Marzia sensed her anxiousness and began to withdraw herself, "Luna, please listen to my words." She looked at Marian, her eyes pleading. "If Alpha finds that she is of Alpha descent, and of Ash descent. She will be terminated, they will kill her easy."  Marian looked at the Witch, her excitement halted. "What am I supposed to do? Leave my daughter there?" She asked shocked that she was even having this conversation with the Witch and not her husband. She thought hard, if Carter caught hold of this- no doubt would he run into enemy territory and they needed their daughter out alive. They also couldn't risk the man power, the Walee pack were modern individuals, and they had a huge pack to contest with.  Marzia shook her head, her long lushes curls shaking back and forth. "No, we will get her home to you. We just need to think about this." She began to pace back and forth, her fingers twirling anxiously as she did.  Marian paused, looking at the Witch. Her defenses back up, "Why are you telling me this? How can I trust you?" she held her hands out infront of her to stop the Witch from approaching her.  Marzia stopped in her place, "That child has the essence of an Alpha to her, a strong warrior and her mind even stronger. If Alpha found out, he would use her against you both. He would end the Ash pack."  Marian's excitement peaked. "You mean you could sense her wolf?" She asked shocked, when Amber was here on pack lines, Gola nor Onacona could sense Amber's wolf. It had made them both very nervous for the future of the pack. Seeing Marzia shake her head made Marian's heart fall.  Marzia sighed, "No I didn't sense or hear from her wolf. I don't even know if she has a wolf in her. If her soul is bound to a wolf-- what I am saying, is the mind on that child is there. She has the mind of an Alpha. She needs to be developed."  Marian nodded her head quietly, "But what would that matter to you? You are a member of the Walee pack, you know the issues we have had in the past together-" Marzia interrupted her, "I was a mother too once." She looked at her, her eyes suddenly shinning with unshed tears, "I know what its like to lose a child to Alpha, if I can avoid that I will do everything in my power to."  Marian felt Gola become restless in the back of her mind, her senses becoming heightened as her emotions filled to the surface. She hesitated, looking around the forest in an attempt to see anyone lurking in the shadows. "We need to get her back." She paused, "But I need to get Carter involved, he will know what to do. Our community cannot handle another war."  Marzia felt her frustration growing with the Luna, they didn't have the time or the resources to wait for her mate to act on this. If they wanted to get her back, the Luna needed to follow her now. Before she got caught. Marzia sighed, "I'm afraid if we wait any longer, I might not be able to help you. I can't risk being found walking along the pack lines, I have no excuses out here. No reason to be out here."  Marian paused, suddenly becoming cautious over the Witch's haste... "I need to get Carter involved, I cannot do this alone." She stated calmly.  Marzia felt her seal on her anger snap, her hands came up to her face and she grabbed the back of her hair in the process. "Do you not understand?!" She shouted. "We don't even have the time to argue, let alone have you alerting your pack. If they find me out here they will KILL me." Her voice shrill with nervousness. "Either you follow me now, or I leave. You will have to find your daughter another way."  Marian felt Gola's anxiousness in her mind, her voice cutting in through her brain, "We need to get Onacona involved, if we get caught they could kill us. We can't trust everything the Witch says, Mother or not."  Marian silently agreed with her beastly counterpart. She starred at the Witch blankly, having an internal battle.  Marzia sensing her hesitation let out a frustrated huff and began back through the forest, her words falling on deaf ears. "Fine! But when they kill her, don't come crawling back to me!" Her tears threatening to spill down her face.  Marian watching the Witch leave, suddenly turned on her heels and shifted back into her wolf. She tore through the forest at lightening speed back towards her pack to get Carter, and have him follow the scent of the Witch before she got too far.  Marzia on the other hand in a huff jogged through the forest in an effort to avoid the next Boarder Patrol, and eventually after a few minutes got out of the clearing of the woods and to her car. She fumbled for her car keys in her dress pocket, before violently pushing  the "unlock" button, and harshly sitting down in her chair. She turned on her car and sped off back to her house, the morning early.  Marian on the other hand had retrieved Carter and a few of their Warriors from their camp, and they had started back in towards the woods. They followed their Luna closely, attempting to pick up the scent of the Witch as it slowly faded away. The group followed the Witch's scent until they passed pack lines, here the growing hesitation within the group began to develop. Nobody wanted to risk passing pack lines and potentially starting another scuffle. However, Carter being insistent on the health of his daughter, surged past the group and through the woods onto Walee pack lines. His Luna not far behind him and the small group of warriors they acquired. As they dove further through the Walee hunting grounds, their senses began to pick up heightened smells.  Meanwhile Walee pack Warriors were notified of the intruders, and began to depart into their general area.
