It is said in the beginning " There was God and the Word was God ". I discovered early in life in order to find HIM. The journey would require at least one or more trips through Hell and back. Truth is most people get comfortable and waddle in misery. When there is a wealth of knowledge and creativity to be discovered. Some are not so brave, not the case for one man. People called him " dreads ", but close friends called him " Souljah." Nobody knows or dared to ask his past, but it was a story going around. He had served in the army. That was common knowledge considering his demeanor. Always short and direct in conversation, and well read. He could hold conversations with politicians and royalty, or worker's and students. Being from Chicago and raised in rural Statesville, North Carolina. He knew both dynamics of the faster pace of the city and the peace of the country life.
