I have fallen from heaven, now I am living like a devil. Chapter 14 Don’t call me, angel. My eyes darted here and there looking around, I saw something moving in the dark, I took out the long knife from my knee-length heels and threw one of my knives straight towards the hustling sound. After I ran towards the direction of the shadow, I felt a sudden blood thirst an urge I couldn’t resist. I held both my knives in my hands one for double attack and another for double defense. I saw a wolf ahead of me on my path I felt a pleased as my face held a pleased grin. My knives didn’t stop I jumped and launched on it directly on both or its hands, avoiding it to run, and with the sword, handle hit on its head making it unconscious. Hearing the wolf’s howling in pain two men from the back and two from the front had surrounded me with all four directions. “Oh-ho, better you don’t be a joy kill please, please me try your best come at me.” I couldn’t help it but feel it. Something inside me just wanted more. I stood there waiting for them to be the first to make a move. Repositioning my knives while throwing them in the air I dashed towards the tree and caught them and back-flipped ripping to men’s head and bodies separate. Looking at their bloody bodies’ the other two tried to back out, but before that I kicked them on their back with broken their rib cage making a cracking sound they screamed. “Ah-huh, what a pleased voice, but such an ugly face…” I hit them too on their head. Their screams felt pleasing to my ears. But their sounds were ugly I hope next time I kill someone gives a satisfying scream. “Too ugly for my eyes. I’m disappointed it wasn’t fun.” A few minutes later, I had ended up knocking down a five-foot wolf, broke a few men’s bones and killed two men’s on the spot. At looked back, leaving Elijah and Scarlett, everyone who had been following us were shocked to the core. To be honest, I didn’t care; I did what I must. I pointed to an unconscious man who had shifted from a wolf back into human form, to tie him up and orders other hybrid officers to clean up the mess... Didn’t wanted to spoil the party. Levi and Elijah picked him up like he was some cotton blanket, tied him up in thick ropes. Luckily, Scarlett had some water, without thinking much I threw the water at the now half-unconscious man. I know it is very immature of me to show off my fighting skills. But I had to make sure they knew very well in the future whom their mess with. I had to give them the clarity that I am not some damsel in distress. The man slowly opened his eyes. “So, let me make this clear, with every liar either it’s small or big, you receive consequences and yes if you don’t answer me sorry to say even I don’t know what will happen to you. Am I clear?“, he nodded slowly. “So, let starts with your name”. “Isaac”, I knew he was lying, with his eyes moving around me and the fear in them to be caught was clearly visible. I smack my long knife in his left thighs. He screams in pain. “Now, tell me your name”. “Samuel Adams”. I removed the long knife from the thighs. “Well Samuel, why are you here... Without permission?” I asked him innocently as if I didn’t harm him. “I was looking for my mate” I was fed up. “Scarlett, can I borrow your gun?” She gave me her gun without hesitation. I removed all the bullets from the gun but did not remove the last one bullet kept it in the gun. “Now Samuel, I think any man without this little buddy down there could be called man~less, I hope you are not planning to live a life without him!” I said to him as if it was a good joke with no humor in it. I paused, then continued “let me ask you once again why are you here?” It was much more serious this time. “I am telling the truth, Melanie” seriously, this man seems to think I am a fool. I pointed the gun at his little man and I pulled the trigger. He screamed worse than a little girl, but nothing happened. After some time I was done with the talks. I order Xander my best hybrid crime inventor to talk to Samuel in the jail and further investigate if by chance there was more to the attack. I walk back to the club pretending as nothing happened. Scarlett jumped on my back, I lifted her legs, we both screamed ‘let the party begin’ I then half ran and a half walk towards the club. We reach the club started to dance and drink like before. I did start to feel a bit tipsy. Maybe I should leave now before that maybe I should take a nap. I rest my head on the bar courted, not caring if anyone could judge me. As my eyes closed, I felt like I was floating in the air, I did hear a faint voice. .............................. I woke up in a loose nightgown.
