The Alpha Kings Rogue

Big Mistake

*Arias Pov*

*20 minutes earlier*

This is so much to take in, I'm not even sure what parts to start processing first. The fact I have another brother, the fact my mother is the Moon Goddess, the fact I'm a rare wolf or the fact my mate is not only an Alpha but a King too. 

"What you thinking pup" Lukas probably wondering why I've been so quiet for the last 10 minutes. "Its a lot to process ya know? I answer honestly. He just simply nods, he must of felt like this too at some point. 

I'm not too sure what to think of Vincent, sure just saying his name makes butterflies form in my stomach, his voice brings me instant calmness to my mind and let's be honest her... his looks aren't sore to any as eyes but I don't know. He didn't seem very happy with me being his mate, he just saw me as a rogue.

"No he didnt" how the hell did he know what I was thinking.... "your eyes show your hurt and the fact you're holding blushing made me guess it could only be one person on your mind"

"Wow you're really good at reading people"

"Another perk to our wolves" he always looks proud talking about his wolf and his abilities yet I know none of mine. "I'm surprised you've never shifted before today, which leads me to believe you don't know any of your abilities either right?" 

"Nope literally none" im not even going to try hide the disappointmemt with this.

"Well how about we go over to the training field and see what you can do?" He looks really excited about that but I'm not sure, what if I make a complete fool of myself. "Come on Aria, don't you trust me? Trust us?" Willow decides to pipe up again. "Why have you been so quiet, it isn't like you" it's true, she never shuts up. "Talking to Xavier, he seems a little goofy like Luka" she and I both chuckle at that comment.

"What's so funny?" Luka tills his head with a silly look on his face which just causes us to laugh a little more. "Nothing Luka, let's go the field" I give him a reassuring smile and we head over.

*3rd person pov*

As they come out of the trees, Aria can't believe her eyes. She's never seen a more beautiful scenery. Except the place she used to go to as a child, nowhere will best that spot. This place isn't far behind though, rose bushes outlined the edge of the fields, the grass was snipped down to even level without a single strand out of line. There were oak trees every 100 yards from each other with small doe deers wondering around. "This place is beautiful Luka" she couldn't take her eyes off the picture in front of her. "Wait till you see the training ground" he did a little smirk before shifting into his wolf. There he was again, wagging his tail like a little puppy and his tongue having out giving that dopey look Willow was speaking about. She giggles to herself before shifting too. Aria knows it's not going to hurt but she still finds herself bracing for the pain, she looks down to see Willows perfectly white paws and smiles. "You're truly beautiful Willow" She doesn't think she'll ever get over how gorgeous Willow is. "Thankyou Aria but remember we are one, which means my beauty is also yours" she internally blushes at her comment. Holding their head up high she runs to the training field, playing chase along the way. It was weird playing this game without being frightened but she loved it. He seems to be a lot faster than her though which she thought kinda sucks. Aria is sure with his help though she'll catch up to him without any problems.

They finally reach the training ground, it was beautiful but a different kind of beautiful. There's wooden benches around what looks to be a risen sparring ring but without the band's around it. Practice weapons were presented neatly beside it and on each corner of the ring was a spotless silver fire pole, they weren't lit but the sun hitting them still made them shine. The most beautiful part however was all the wolves, they were calm, playing, there was no arguing, growling or threatening. Aria was falling in love with this place already. 

As they walk up to the ring, other wolves stop and watch her closely. She begins to feel a little nervous till she feel Luka nudge her gently on the front of her leg. "Come on, up here with me" he mind linked aria, it was so she had to focus on his voice to hear him instead of the other wolves starting at her. She followed him up onto the ring, it felt kind of bouncy which she was surprised at for some reason. Aren't all fighting rings a little bouncy? She asked herself.

"Right I want you to give me your best shots" Luka was determined to see what she's got, he wasn't expecting grateness this first time but she's been running with rogues so she must have learnt some tactics, whether she was in wolf form or not. "I've never had to fight in wolf form before, I don't know a thing" she replies very nervously. "Then let your wolf control your movements but stay present during" she thought about it for a little, giving him a small head not Aria got in an attack position. Just looking at the size of Xavier but her off actually doing this but she couldn't let Willow look like a coward just because Aria felt like one. She saw Xavier look towards a wolf running towards what looked like a pack house and decided to take her shot, she put all her weight onto her back paws and pounced at Xavier. He wasn't stupid though, he caught her in the side of his view and jumped to the side making Willow land on the floor. She left out a huff before storming back to her corner. "Don't worry it was your first time, cheap shot though" he laughed... loudly. Willow started bouncing on her paws, letting adrenaline run through her. "We got him this time, let me take control completely with our body and follow my lead" Aria couldn't help but notice how serious she sounded. "You're not going to hurt him are you" she didn't want anyone getting hurt. "Of cause not, he's our brother. I'm just going to show you how to land a pounce onto another wolf" she sounded calmer this time which eased my worry of releasing control to her. "Ready pup?" Luka spoke to me through mind link, I know the phrase "pup" is usually an insult in the wolf world but to be honest I like it, it reminds me I'm a little sister again with a big brother. Willow gives him a nod returning back to an attack position. "You can land this one, just focus on my paw movements to work out which way I'm going to go to try dodge" Luka gave little advice because he wanted her to work most put on her own. Willow took a deep breath, looking at Xavier she noticed his left paw was twitching which would usually mean he was going to go left but he knew she would check his paws so once again she puts all her weight on her back paws and pounces at him. Xavier did exactly what she thought he would do and jump right making Willow land directly on top of him. She lightly bit the back of his neck while he tried shaking her off him. "I'm doing it Luka! Look I'm doing it" Aria shouted with excitement through mind link, Luka let out a chuckle "I know pup I can feel it". Just as Willow was about to release she felt a very sharp pain on her ribs and went flying off of Xavier. She let out a pain filled howl but the pain she felt right now was nothing compared to what she was about to feel. There stood Axel, he looked so mad it frightened her. "I should have known not to trust a rogue, your kind are nothing but vile creatures who should never be allowed to walk this earth" it may have been Axels body but that was Vincent's voice. Aria felt like there was a grip around her heart and someone was tightening it with no mercy. He slowly walks closer, lowering his voice "you will NEVER be my mate or my Luna" that was it, that would be the words that killed the very last shred of hope she didn't even know she had. She let's out a heart breaking whimper before lowering her head in shame, she noticed a shadow appearing over her but just figured it was Vincent coming to finish her off so she didn't even bother to raise her head. "I am saying this as your friend, not as your beta" it was Luka still in his wolf form. "You need to back the hell away from my little sister and understand what's going on" he sounds mad, more frightening than Vincent.

" Watch who you're talking to Luka" Vincent raised his head "I saw what was going on".

"No you saw what you think you saw going on, what you should have seen is your mate landing her first attack, you should have seen a brother and sister bonding, you should have seen your MATE smile for the first damn time but no, you let your stupid judgements get in the way!" Luka could feel his blood boiling, he was still standing in front of Aria because he didn't trust Vincent to get any closer. He turns back to look at Willows scared form, noticing the dull colour of violet her eyes now held. "Look at her, look into her eyes, your words have just killed the light in them. You disgust me as a friend and as someone's mate." Vincent look over at Willow as Luka turns to attend to her and he was right, there was no sparkle, no shine, just a dull violet settled showing no brightness. Luka places his snout under Willows stomach and throws her over his head making her land on his back. She let out a couple whines but besides that she didn't bother argue or make a movement. "What do you think you're doing? I'll take her back" Vincent didn't like someone else taking her away, brother or not. "You lost your rights to what happens to her or where she goes after the vile words you had just spoken" Vincent couldn't believe the way his best friend just looked at him, he's never looked so disgusted with anything in his life.

"What have I done" Vincent asked himself, he know he shouldn't but he did feel sorry for himself, he just caused his mate, the most innocent creature he had ever met, pain that will forever live in her heart and mind. "Axel please talk to me,  I need you buddy" Axel still didn't reply, he didn't even let out a whimper. Why hasn't Axel responded in so long?

"We feel her pain" those words will haunt him for a long time. Even if he doesn't know it yet.
