Paths Meet

*Vincent's Pov*

I love my people, I really do but these meetings are sooo long. To be honest I'm not even sure what this one is about, I have a bad habit of day dreaming you see. My name is Vincent Alzera and I'm the Alpha King of all werewolves, well all werewolves that aren't filthy rogues of cause. Being Alpha King may sound like a very fun job but believe me it is not. Not only am I the King now but I'm also owner of several multi millionaire company's around the world which means more meetings and more strangers coming in each day some of which are humans which makes it awkward for our kind however we have learned to adjust when this occasion comes about. 

"So by the looks of our shares and the increasing of rates we are on a very good path to keeping the business strong" the bald one snaps me back to reality. I suck at remembering name's so nicknames will do for now. I begin to stand, thinking it was the end of the meeting but sadly I was wrong, he begins talking again so I remain in my seat. Maybe a little more thinking and day dreaming will kill the time, the only problem being when I'm lost in my thoughts I'm taken back to the subject my mother and father have brought up non stop the last few months. My mate. Well i say my mate but we haven't exactly found her yet, which is strange for 3 reasons. First being I'm 24 years old and most wolf's find their mate before they are 21, second I'm an Alpha, alphas need their Luna to help them remain strong and thirdly I'm a King, what is a King without his queen by his side. It's not like I haven't tried looking, I even put off taking the crown so I could go out to find her. I thought I did once but turns out I was wrong, I caught her scent at a pack I had visited however none of them would tell me who the scent belonged too. Well they said they couldn't recall the scent as it was unfamiliar to them but I knew they were lying. If I wasn't determined to follow that scent I would have squeezed it out of them. To my failed luck however I didn't find the girl, i lost it as we went into rogue territory, I just hope she made it out of there and one day I will find her again. Why didnt i follow her in their you may ask? Well that's the downside to being a King, you can't just think about yourself or one person. I had men with me, however some were not trained to deal with rogues and others were just there as part of the tracking team. I would have took stronger men with me but my father was against the search to begin with so I snuck out with whoever I could grab. My best friend and beta wasn't too impressed when he found out I didn't take him but his father was a lot more strict as a parent as mine was. We never knew why as children but when he turned for the first time it made complete sense as to why he was the way he was with him.

"Is that everything that needs discussing today gentlemen?" Oh whoops baldy is talking again. I better say something before they start that after meeting converse.... never mind too late again. "Yes lilth and the children are doing great Matthew's, how is your family holding up?" Red tie was doing the speaking this time. Someone, anyone, help me get out if this! As if the moon goddess heard my prayers I got a message through mind link "Alpha we have a breach, we're heading there now but Luka may have already arrived at the destination. We haven't heard from him since". Not heard from him? That guy never stops talking, even when we're on, missions that need complete silence. I need to go check it out. 

"Gentlemen I'm so incredibly sorry for having to cut this short however I'm needed urgently by my fellow soldiers" I try to usher them out. 

"Is everything okay Mr. Alzera?"

"Yes, yes of cause. Just a disagreement on training methods that's all but a little problem can always lead to a big one so I like to sort it as soon as possible" I can't tell them there was a breach, it will just lead to unnecessary worry and rumours so this will do. 

I let Axel take control, my wolf. I never usually do but he's been insanely restless today, well more than usual anyway. I have a feeling he's hiding something from me but I'll respect his privacy... for now. He's pushing himself a lot harder than he needs too which is a bit pointless but I'll leave him to it, all I've got out of him since we left is grunting or growling. Wait what's that smell? Axel has picked up on it too, he stopped to take a deeper sniff of the scent before howling and charging off again. Whatever it is, it smells incredible... honey and meadow flowers. Wait. The scent. This is my mates scent! "Axel give me back control right now!" I need to be in charge of this, he's been withheld from our mate for too long, he won't be able to control himself. "Axel you'll hurt her!" He wouldn't want that, just like I wouldn't. "Playing on my emotions for our mate is a low blow, even for you Vincent" wow better than grunts I suppose. He let's me take charge again but I stay in wolf form to get there quicker. Why can I smell Lukas scent? Why is he with my mate and not the rogue? He touches her in any way I'll kill him, best friend or not. 

I come into view of him, he's in his wolf form! "Xavier stand down! Return Luka right now" he lowers his head in submission and that's when I see the most gorgeous wolf I have ever seen. She's pure white, whiter than the snow. Her eyes are a deep galaxy purple I can easily get lost in. On her chest is... Wait how is this possible? She has a perfect shape of the crescent on her chest. I look over to Luka who is still in wolf form wagging his tail like a silly pup. "Luka what's going on" I mind link him. 

"It's her Alpha! It's little Aria!" 

"That's not possible, why is she here. How did she find you"

"Urgh well that's the funny part"

"What's going on Luka"

"She's...kinda...sorta the rogue that crossed the border"

"WHAT!?" I can't believe this... She's a rogue. He looked over at her, the light in her eyes had faded slightly when she saw his expression. 

"She's clearly nothing like the other rogues, now go accept her!" Axel piped in, he's getting very agitated with me being so far away.

"She's a rogue Axel, I can't just accept her as our mate" 

"Go over there now or I swear to the goddess I will mark her myself in whatever form. I won't live without her, WE won't live without her. She's f**king perfect you moron!"

"Watch who you're talking too mutt! I'm the Alpha remember" he's started to piss me off.

"Duh so am I remember if you wanna play that game." Smartass....

I turn to look at her, she really is gorgeous as a wolf but I know nothing about her mind set. 

"Can you shift back please?" Please? Why am I using manners to a rogue. She looks over to Luka, he nods to her before saying "you won't need spare clothes, trust me you can shift". No clothes!? Yes she f*****g does need clothes! "Don't you dare shift back without clothes...." too late she's shifted. I pounce in front of her making sure to cover her from seeing eyes, I can hear the soldiers have just gathered behind me... about time, bad time but about time. I look down however to see her arms are up defending herself, why is she cowering to me? Luka was right though, she was fully clothed. She lowers her hands and looks straight at me, a little fear is in them but the fear seems to be embedded, like it's permantly there for some reason. I step back to get a closer look at her. I can't breath. She has brown curly hair, perfect ringlets. Her eyes are a deep ocean blue, Its like gazing at the sea. She has the cutest button nose, covered in little freckles. Her skin is smooth caramel which makes her plump rose lips stand out. She's got the most amazing body I've ever seen, she's not too skinny but perfectly curvy. "And she's all ours" Axel is right about that, I may hate rogues but I can beat that for her. This is my mate and I will love her endlessly.
