Unwanted : A Tale of Omega Warrior

Chapter 5

Isabella’s POV

I sighed while staring at the floor. It has been fifteen minutes since I am standing like this here, in the dinning room of palace.

After telling Alpha King that I am Luna Sophia's bodyguard, Luna Sophia said that she is hungry, that is why we came to dinning room.

I am glad there was no conversation regarding me between them. And I realized that I didn’t tell my name to Luna Sophia as well.

I hope she won’t ask my name.

The Royal family members and Beta family is present in the dinning room, having their breakfast while talking among themselves.

I saw how almost everyone had stared at me weirdly when they came to know that I am Luna Sophia’s bodyguard.

I am really holding myself from yelling at them for judging me. But I am glad as well, maybe I will be removed from this post and someone else will be appointed.

It might work out for me.

There are two more female warriors here. One is protecting alpha King’s step mother, Amanda who is current Luna Queen as well, as Luna Sophia hasn’t taken over Luna Queen's position officially yet.

And other one is protecting, Alpha King's step sister, Naomi.

I looked up from the floor when someone walked in dinning room.

“Good morning family” she yelled with a big smile and sat down on the chair.

She is Alpha King's another sister, Kate. She is his real sister. Another female warrior walked in with her, Bianca. As soon as she entered she glared at me which made me shake my head.

“What is it Kate? you shouldn’t talk loudly like this. And what the hell are you wearing? And why were you running. You shouldn’t act like this” Luna queen Amanda said as soon as Kate sat down.

She looked at Amanda and just shrugged her shoulders.

“I have a training to attend, that is why I can’t wear dress” she said and started eating.

So far, I saw how other royal family members were very graceful in whatever they were doing. Hell even while eating, they looked so graceful.

But Kate, she is different from them. The aura around her is jolly and for some reason I like her.

“you and your training. I don’t understand why do you even have to get trained? We have so many warriors. I even saw one female warrior coming with you. This fighting and everything is men’s job. Why don’t you do something a woman does” Luna Sophia said and I scoffed internally at her words.

What does she mean by this nonsense?

“Sophia is right Kate. You should stop doing these useless things and work on your etiquette” Naomi agreed. I can see disappointment written all over her face.

“It’s all your fault Son, you support her too much. What was the need to allow women to become warriors just because your sister asked you to give chance to the she wolves. She is getting out of hands. Who will marry a wild woman like her who doesn’t know how to be feminine” Luna Amanda said.

Alpha King looked in Kate's direction and just smiled.

“I am sure her mate will accept her as she is. Don’t worry about her. And Kate how is your training going on?” he asked.

I saw almost all the ladies shake their heads as if they are disappointed.

He gave women chance to become warriors because his sister asked him, I thought it was because he believed even women can fight.

How wrong I was!

“It is perfect. That day is not far when I will defeat you in a spar” Kate answered confidently.

“I will wait for that day. Soon I will appoint you as the leader of all the female warriors” he announced.

“thank you brother. I will work very hard” she said. The topic of their conversation changed and I was again lost in my thoughts.

After some time I heard someone talking about me,

“Oh… we have an omega warrior here” Kate said which made me look in her direction.

Not knowing what I should say, I just kept quiet and bowed my head in respect.

Her words caused everyone to look in my direction which made me a little uncomfortable.

“Yes we do, I don’t understand why Sebastian assigned an omega warrior to protect our future Luna queen” Beta Mason said.

“It must be a mistake, I am sure of it” Luna Queen Amanda added.

For the first time in my life, I am feeling glad after hearing these kind of ignorant words about me.

‘please remove me from my post' I prayed earnestly.

“What’s so wrong about being an omega warrior?” I heard Kate ask. Her displeasure clearly visible on her face.

She got up from her chair and walked towards me.

“What’s your name?” she asked me. My heart dropped at her question. My hands curled into fists behind my back.

I saw her waiting for my response and having no choice, I whispered slowly so that only she can hear me, “I… Isabella”.

The moment I uttered my name I looked in Alpha King’s direction from my peripheral vision and I saw him smirking, which told me he heard me.

“wow your name suits you” Kate said to me. If it wasn’t for the sincerity in her orbs, then I would have thought she is mocking me.

All my life I heard that my name doesn’t suit me.

‘Isabella, Bella means beautiful. The name doesn’t suit an ugly duckling like you. What were your parents thinking when they named an ugly b***h like you Isabella'

This is what my aunt and Delia used to say. I came out of my thoughts with Alpha King’s voice,

“You should tell your full name when someone asks your name” I heard him say.

I sighed defeated.

“Isabella Jones” I said this time firmly.

He smirked when he heard my full name. And trust me when I say this, his smirk frightened me a little.

Because to me, it felt like he was telling me silently,

'now that I know your name, I will reject you'.

Alpha King Vincent's POV

A smirk appeared on my face when she told her name.

Finally, I know her name.

Isabella Jones.

I agree with Kate.

Isabella, her name suits her well.

Even though she is not an extraordinarily beautiful, but still she has a different kind of beauty. Her aura screams innocence.

I don’t know if it is because of mate bond or what, but I love her eyes. They are simple brown color, but still they look so beautiful.

Beautiful….. what the hell I am even talking about.

Damn this mate bond, it is messing with my mind since yesterday.

My blood boiled when the image of her being pinned against the wall by my brother, came to my mind.

She is a w***e and an weak omega, I am making the right decision to reject her.

I don’t want any trouble in my relationship with Sophia.

I met Sophia two months ago when I visited the Dark Shadow Pack. She is the daughter of the Alpha of Dark Shadow pack.

She is strong and beautiful, perfect to lead my kingdom with me.

I knew that I will meet my other mate as well. In my family, all the Alpha Kings were mated to two mates.

At first I had doubts regarding who I will choose if my second mate is also a high rank wolf. But now my problem is solved.

I know it is wrong to reject my mate just because she is low rank Omega, but I have no choice. I have to choose someone who is good for my kingdom.

I was shocked when I heard that this little omega is a warrior. I had asked Mason to have best female warriors to protect the ladies of my family.

But seeing an omega protecting my future Luna is not settling well with me. I will have to talk with Sebastian later.

I came out of my thoughts with Sophia's voice, “I am going to shopping with my friends” she said.

“Hmm, take care” I said to her.

“I will” she replied and placed her lips over mine for a kiss.

After few minutes we pulled away. She got up from her chair and looked at Isabella,

“Lets go” she said to her.

But before they could leave I stopped them,

“Wait Sophia” she stopped and looked at me in confusion.

“I need to talk to your bodyguard first, to give her some instructions.” I said.

“oh.. okay, but be quick” Sophia said. I looked at Isabella who is looking down.

“You… follow me” I said to her and without waiting for her reply, I started walking.

I heard sounds of footsteps which told me she is following behind.

I took her to my office which is on the first floor.

I leaned against my desk, crossed my arms over my chest and stared at Isabella.

She is looking down, but I can hear her loud heartbeat.

“Isabella Jones” I called her name. But she didn’t look up at me.

I sighed feeling a little bad. I know rejection hurts a lot. It is not her fault that she is an omega. But I have no choice. I have to reject one of my mate and I won’t Reject Sophia.

“you know it is disrespectful to run away when your superior is talking to you” I said, remembering how she ran away yesterday. I can’t believe that she called me a heartless and ugly mate.

I am anything but ugly. I have seen women literally drooling over me.

If it wasn’t for the fact that I am going to give her a worst kind of pain after rejecting her, I would have definitely punished her for her disrespectful action.

I am not very forgiving and I can’t tolerate disrespect from anyone. But I will let it slide, only this time.

“I am sorry Alpha King. It won’t happen again” she apologized while bowing her head.

I sighed again before saying, “look at me”.

She did after few seconds.

Her brown orbs locked with my blue ones.

Not wanting to waste any time I started speaking,

“I, Alpha King Vincent Miller…..” I saw tears welling up in her eyes but I didn’t stop, “Reject you Isabella Jones…..” my words died down in my throat and my eyes widened when suddenly she came towards me and placed her palm on my lips, stopping me from speaking.

I felt sparks when her palm touched me. Her eyes are looking at me pleadingly. I couldn’t move.

Her face is just few inches away from my face.

“Just give me two months, please….” She pleaded.

I came out of my thoughts when suddenly door of the door opened and my mate’s voice fell on my ears,

“Vincent… how much more tim……” her words died down in her throat as she asked in shock with her eyes filled with surprise,

“Wh…what is going on here?”
