Kawaii = Japanese word for ‘cute’ which has started to be used by Western fans of Japanese culture too. Things that are kawaii aren’t just cute, but more likely to be cutesy or even over the top cute, often fluffy or squishy, like kittens or baby rabbits. Kawaii isn’t simply a description, it’s a feeling.
I sit down at the back of the classroom, a good spot to see what’s going on, and to sometimes even get a little thinking in while the professors are doing stuff on the board.
