Ecchi = Describes things that are s****l but not directly s*x-act related. Dirty jokes or panty shots in anime are examples of this. It’s more lewd than really overtly s****l. Ecchi content tends to show up in a lot of manga and anime that are for teens and older, while they aren’t exactly sexy in general, but it does tend to show up as fan service type of content.
